About the team
The Iberia Hunter team is responsible for winning net-new business across Iberia. We focus on bringing Stripe's products to
high-potential businesses that aren't yet Stripe customers. We move with urgency, operate with focus, and pride ourselves on
delivering strong commercial results through disciplined outbound execution and high-quality customer engagement.
What you'll do
As a Hunter Account Executive, you'll win net-new business across the Spain and Portuguese market—building Stripe's presence with
high-potential companies that have yet to adopt our platform. You'll execute long-term sales strategies, engage internal and
external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements, build value in competitive situations, and lead commercial
negotiations to close.

ABOUT THE TEAM The SMB team is a highly consultative sales team that is responsible for the growth of Stripe’s SMB customers within the region. We work with the most ambitious and fastest growing companies - Stripe’s payments and financial infrastructure unlocks new revenue streams and growth opportunities for their businesses. WHAT YOU’LL DO As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can execute on sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements with product teams, build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close deals. RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with existing SMB Stripe customers to develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Stripe’s revenue * Own the full sales cycle, from business case development, deal structuring and negotiating, to close and activation * Own a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with high growth technology companies * Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities * Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals * Develop relationships with executive stakeholders within your book of business * Be responsible for account mapping and coordinating effective meetings with the appropriate external stakeholders expanding the customer relationship * Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process and help shape the Stripe sales culture WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 2+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a highly technical product, with a track record of top performance * Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products * Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations * A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally * Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders * Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements * Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment * Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space * Superior verbal and written communication skills in English * Fluency in Spanish

WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you'll create partnerships between Stripe and founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups in India by helping them to understand how the Stripe financial infrastructure and solutions can support their growth ambitions and create a competitive advantage for their businesses. As an Account Executive on the Startups team, you'll identify new opportunities for startups to get the most out of the growing Stripe products suite by thoroughly understanding their needs and advising them on how to leverage market-leading financial solutions to their own advantage. You'll create and drive campaigns to build new sales pipelines and work with our users on increasing their Stripe adoption. We're looking for a well-rounded strategic seller who can build strong relationships with Stripe users and manage high-velocity deal cycles. Our startup users are some of the most ambitious and demanding customers, and a successful candidate will match their curiosity, speed, and passion to build things by overcoming challenges. You are solution-oriented, adaptable, have a keen interest in further developing yourself, and know how to get things done. You enjoy a highly-technical sales cycle and working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders.
