The Startups team is dedicated to winning all top venture capital-backed startups in India. We achieve this by combining
subject-matter expertise with robust collaboration within the startup ecosystem. Our focus is on identifying and partnering with
high-potential startups, assisting them in monetizing their products, scaling globally, and creating new revenue streams. You have

In this role, you'll create partnerships between Stripe and founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups in India
by helping them to understand how the Stripe financial infrastructure and solutions can support their growth ambitions and create
a competitive advantage for their businesses.
As an Account Executive on the Startups team, you'll identify new opportunities for startups to get the most out of the growing
Stripe products suite by thoroughly understanding their needs and advising them on how to leverage market-leading financial
solutions to their own advantage. You'll create and drive campaigns to build new sales pipelines and work with our users on
increasing their Stripe adoption.

ABOUT THE TEAM The Startup Account Executive team within our New Business Sales function and is responsible for closing net-new accounts for Stripe. You have the opportunity to sell the entire suite of Stripe products and run the full sales cycle through onboarding. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Startup Account Executive at Stripe, you'll drive future growth by building relationships with founders of the fastest-growing venture-backed companies. You'll manage inbound leads and the full sales cycle through onboarding, turning them into happy Stripe users. ABOUT THE TEAM A Stripe Commercial (Mid-Market) Account Executive partners with high-growth, under-penetrated mid-market businesses to help them scale and modernize their financial infrastructure. These companies—often tech-forward, founder-led, and rapidly scaling—represent Stripe's next generation of breakout users. Stripe Commercial AEs are responsible for both acquiring new users and expanding existing relationships. They guide companies through the full sales lifecycle, uncovering pain points, aligning on solutions across the Stripe product suite, and driving long-term value. Commercial AEs serve as strategic advisors, helping users unlock new revenue, streamline operations, and launch ambitious new products on top of the Stripe platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO Commercial AEs own a book of high-potential accounts—some already using Stripe, others still evaluating. They operate with a dual motion—hunting for new growth opportunities and farming existing relationships for deeper adoption and expansion. They work cross-functionally with Solutions, Product, Post-Sales, and Sales Ops to craft tailored strategies and execute at high velocity. RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify high-potential, fast-growing eCommerce platforms for a full-stack Stripe implementation, from payments to Connect * Lead a product and pricing workshop with an existing user to introduce Radar and optimize their fraud stack * Develop and execute an outbound play to target a new vertical in their region or territory * Create and deliver compelling product walkthroughs to showcase how the expanding Stripe product suite (like Issuing or Treasury) maps to customer goals * Drive commercial discussions and close complex, high-impact deals—both net-new and upsell * Partner with Customer Success and Solutions Architects to resolve user pain points and deepen Stripe integration * Share feedback with Product and Marketing teams to help inform roadmap and messaging prioritie WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Account Executive on the French SMB Hunter team, you will own a portfolio of prospective SMB accounts and be responsible for winning new business for Stripe. This is a true hunting role, with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing new logos. You will partner closely with an SDR to execute targeted outbound strategies, while also building your own pipeline through proactive prospecting and account-based selling. You will run high-velocity, consultative sales cycles, help prospective users understand the value of the Stripe platform, and guide them from discovery through close and activation. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the full sales cycle for net-new SMB prospects, from prospecting and discovery through solutioning, negotiation, close, and activation * Build and execute outbound strategies across a named account set to create, progress, and close new business opportunities * Partner closely with SDRs to identify target accounts, refine messaging, and generate qualified pipeline, while also self-sourcing opportunities * Lead consultative sales conversations with founders, operators, and functional stakeholders across payments, finance, product, and engineering * Understand customer pain points and business objectives, and position Stripe products and solutions to meet their needs, while building trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders throughout the sales process * Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations to deliver strong outcomes for both Stripe and prospective users * Maintain a high bar for pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and operational rigor WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.
