A truly exciting time to join us. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a structured and driven Manager Planning to take full ownership of site wide planning and coordination at our Gothenburg site. In this key role, you will ensure alignment between production, logistics, supply chain, and support functions, making sure resources, priorities, and activities are fully synchronized to deliver on customer commitments and business targets. You will translate demand into executable plans, balance capacity with operational requirements, and ensure strong performance through proactive, data driven decision making. This is a highly cross-functional role where you connect strategy with execution and play a central part in securing overall site performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and develop the Planning team, including performance management, goal setting, competence development, and salary reviews. Own and develop site planning processes to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and operational priorities. Create and optimize short- and long-term production and delivery plans to secure high delivery performance and operational efficiency. Own the site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and ensure cross-functional alignment. Monitor KPIs and operational performance, and initiate corrective actions when needed. Coordinate cross-functional execution across production, logistics, supply chain, and support functions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, stability, and customer satisfaction. Contribute to resource planning, budgeting, and operational development. WHO YOU ARE You are a structured and results-oriented leader who thrives in complex operational environments. You have a strong ability to create clarity, alignment, and execution across functions. We believe you have experience from a senior role within planning, operations, supply chain, or production. You have a strong background in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments. You bring proven experience in capacity planning, scheduling, and operational coordination. You have strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs to drive performance. You have leadership experience, including managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders. You have financial understanding, including budgeting and cost control. You have strong communication skills in Swedish and English. Overview We are looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join our Operations team and play a key role in driving an accurate and collaborative demand planning process across the business. This position is responsible for developing and executing demand plans that support the company’s commercial objectives while acting as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, stakeholder management and a continuous improvement mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the demand planning process within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle. * Develop monthly and weekly forecasts, balancing short-term execution with longer-term planning horizons. * Build volume and value forecasts by integrating: * Sales and Commercial inputs. * Marketing plans, including new launches and discontinuations. * Historical sales and POS data. * Business consensus and market intelligence. * Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, consumption trends and forecast deviations to proactively identify risks and opportunities. * Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams, challenging assumptions when needed and ensuring forecast quality. * Communicate demand projections and business outlooks to Finance and key stakeholders. * Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, bias and overall planning performance through root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain demand planning databases, forecasting systems and statistical models. * Prepare and share demand planning reports and KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Customer Service, Stock-on-Hand and Business Waste metrics. * Identify gaps in demand plans and drive corrective actions with relevant stakeholders. * Manage demand changes within the frozen period, aligning business needs with Supply Planning requirements. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or similar). * Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain experience, including at least 3 years in Demand Planning. * Experience working with SAP, APO, Manugistics or similar planning tools. * Advanced Excel skills and strong data management capabilities. * Fluent professional English (C1+) and Spanish (C1+), to lead meetings and do presentations in this language. Nice to have * Additional European languages. * APICS certification.
