We're looking for an Export Control Advisor to join our Trade Compliance team at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Four people focus on Export Compliance, ensuring that Axis complies with Export Control regulations worldwide and that our high-tech products are not supplied to restricted countries, parties, or users. The other people focus on Customs Compliance, securing that import and export activities are performed in a compliant and efficient manner and customs costs are minimized. Your focus will be on Export Compliance. What you will do as Export Control Advisor: In this role, you are central to safeguarding Axis's ability to operate and grow globally. By ensuring compliance with complex EU and US export control legislation, embargoes, and sanctions, you directly protect the company and enable our products to reach customers worldwide. You will work cross-functionally with Legal, R&D, Sourcing, Order, and Sales across regions. Below is example of tasks within the Axis Export Compliance team: Serve as primary point of contact for Export Control matters. Responsibility for ECCN classification of commodities under both EU and US legislation. Gather required information and submit export license applications and determinations. Conduct daily restricted party screenings. Develop and improve processes concerning Export Control both global and regional, including defining business requirements for IT tool development. Meet with Customs and Export Control Authorities where needed and represent Axis. Providing internal training within the company. Who are we looking for/Who are you? We'd love to hear that you have/are: Required: Several years' experience of Export Control (EU, US legislation) and International Trade. Detailed knowledge about ECCN, Restricted Party Screening, Embargo, Sanctions, and more… Demonstrated experience in export control, covering both EU and US legislation and international trade. In-depth knowledge of ECCN classification, restricted party screening, embargoes, and sanctions. Experience classifying products and software under ECCN frameworks. Experience working with ISP and/or BIS export license processes. Experience operating in a global business environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with colleagues and stakeholders across cultures and regions. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Bonus points for: Working knowledge of electronics and/or software from a technical perspective. Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. European Spallation Source ERIC

The European Spallation Source (ESS) will soon be the world’s most powerful source of neutrons, providing researchers with unique opportunities to explore the structure of materials at the atomic level. Neutron scattering at ESS will address critical questions in physics, chemistry, geology, materials science and life science.  About the Role:  ESS is at an exciting turning point, transitioning from a construction site to an operating facility. To help us achieve our goal of becoming the world’s most powerful neutron source, we are seeking a Process Engineer for the Plant & Process Engineering Function, part of the Design & Engineering Division.  The team is responsible for maintaining state-of-the-art process activities across ESS. The group will first specify and design process systems such as cooling systems, instrument air and deionized water distribution, in accordance with PED, European harmonized codes, ESS rules and AFS regulations. They will then design the associated piping systems and mechanical supports to prepare for manufacturing, purchasing and installation phases. Finally, the group will help finalize the as-built documentation. Additional tasks include configuring and supporting the AVEVA tool suite, providing engineering review support, and offering technical advice.  Day-to-Day you will:  Perform system/project preliminary design based on design descriptions and requirements:   Prepare specifications and reports,  Review design projects,  Prepare for and present at preliminary design reviews.  Participate in critical process reviews,  Document design and group development:   Write and/or review process quality requirements,  Write and/or review processing licensing requirements,  Support standardization activities (components, best practices, and attributes),  Propose and implement improvements to procedures, best practices, and policies.  Follow up on post-design stages:   Support manufacturing phases,  Support installation and testing of equipment,  Support as-built activities,  Stay current with state-of-the-art technology.  This is a full-time/permanent position based at the brand new https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5h4bIEfM5Q. We are looking for an Automation Engineer that will have a key role in our customer order projects. You will be responsible for and manage the automation design and engineering in orders. Beyond technical responsibilities, you will also engage in customer relations and contribute to product development initiatives. What you will do Be the expert in automation design and engineering in customer orders throughout the order process and be responsible for control system specification, programming, and function descriptions in orders. Drive technical discussion together with our project centers to understand and convey the local customer need. Handle technical issues and documentation. As your experience grows, be involved and drive troubleshooting and meetings at customer site. We believe you have Technical education and minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within the food processing industry. Experience with PLC and HMI programming as well as theoretical or practical automatic control knowledge. Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell or other well-known automation systems. A natural way of utilizing necessary standards, guidelines, tools, and methods when doing automation design. While not mandatory, experience in order management, customer handling, and project management are considered advantageous. Fluent in written and spoken English.
