The Business Systems Engineer possesses both business and technical acumen. This engineering role provides support for Lyft’s Corporate systems, managing their daily performance and incidents, implementing effective monitoring and alerting tools, creating automated workflows, building customer solutions, developing software, configuring applications, providing end user training and protecting all system related information assets. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Serve as a skilled Oracle Fusion Order-to-Cash (O2C) Techno-Functional professional, acting as a strategic bridge between business and technical teams to support and continuously enhance ERP Financials, O2C lifecycle, and Manufacturing modules within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications or Oracle R12. * Apply functional expertise alongside hands-on technical knowledge in integrations, reporting, and issue resolution, delivering results in a dynamic, client-facing environment. * Support end-to-end O2C processes encompassing Customer & Account Setup, Order Management, Pricing & Discounts, Shipping & Fulfillment, Billing & Invoicing, Receivables & Cash Applications, Lockbox Functionality, and Collections & Adjustments. * Bring a minimum of 4 years of hands-on implementation experience across a combination of Oracle Financials and Supply Chain modules, including Accounts Receivables, Plan to Manufacture, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Cash Management, and Order to Cash. * Experience in subscription and usage-based billing environments, with an understanding of integrations with CRM, billing, and tax platforms can be an added advantage. * As a Business Systems Engineer, you are responsible for capturing, analyzing and estimating customer business requirements and translating them into Oracle Cloud ERP and Boundary apps solution architecture that fits within the business objectives.Must be able to quickly engage in calls with the Business and stakeholders to provide immediate support during critical periods, such as the month-end close process or any other high-priority task. * Demonstrate a strong drive to learn and investigate in the event of urgent and novel issues. * Should be capable of coordinating the design, interpreting requirements, and translating them into ERP configurations, with expertise in Oracle Fusion setups. * Should be completely hands on and have the ability to identify issues and track them to closure. * Maintain good level knowledge of Accounting and Basic Business Process Flows, with solid exposure to data migration using FBDI (File-Based Data Import). * Leverage SQL, PL/SQL, BI, OTBI reporting tools to drive data-driven insights and reporting solutions (preferred and added advantage). * Coordinate and manage design, development, and testing activities across project phases to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. * Show interest to Technology Innovation by staying ahead of emerging trends including Generative AI and Agentic AI to proactively identify and implement opportunities that drive O2C performance and operational efficiency. * Drive calls with O2C Business stakeholders weekly to access and work on priorities and enhancements and get involved in month end activities during Period close. * Work closely with Integration teams and other boundary applications to build, test, and deploy seamless connections with CRM,platform, and other supporting systems. * Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders through verbal, written, and presentation skills, utilizing tools such as Google Slides and Lucidchart. * Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with judgment to resolve technical and functional challenges within O2C. * Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of system requirements, configurations, and processes in line with organizational standards. * Oversee the deployment of new software releases, version upgrades, patch updates, and critical incident management. * Experience in supporting SOX compliance by gathering, preparing, and providing accurate and timely evidence for SOX controls, audits, and internal control assessments. * Work with Oracle Support by raising and managing Service Requests (SRs), driving issues through to effective and timely resolution. * Manage stakeholder expectations and develop detailed, actionable implementation plans to support successful project delivery. * Apply Agile methodology across software development, systems integration, and application configuration activities to drive iterative and efficient delivery. * Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of system configurations, integrations, workflows, and business requirements. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the PM Benchmarking team in Mexico City. This team designs and executes competitive performance testing that benchmarks MongoDB against alternative technologies, while also building the reusable tooling, frameworks, and engineering practices needed to scale that work over time. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who wants meaningful hands-on coding time, enjoys performance analysis, and is motivated by turning ambiguous technical questions into clear plans, repeatable systems, and high-impact outputs. You will work across the full lifecycle of a benchmark initiative: design, code, run, analyze, and communicate findings. You will also help improve the internal tooling and engineering workflows that make this work faster, more reliable, and more useful across MongoDB.
