Android Developer
Android development plays a central role in how operators interact with vehicles and machines here at CPAC Systems. You will build
HMIs that are used every day in trucks, excavators, boats and industrial systems. The environments are demanding. Performance,
clarity and reliability matter.
You will work close to both hardware and end users, developing Android-based solutions that improve productivity, usability and
safety. In some applications, smart software contributes to productivity gains of up to 30 percent.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the development of Android-based HMI applications from idea to deployment
Design and implement solutions using Kotlin and Java in close collaboration with UX, system and hardware engineers
Work with communication layers such as REST, WebSockets and gRPC, as well as vehicle interfaces like CAN
Collaborate directly with customers to understand real operational needs and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to architecture, code quality, performance and long-term maintainability
WHO ARE YOU?
You enjoy building software that interacts with real machines and real users. You like understanding the full system and how your
code behaves outside a lab environment. You take responsibility for what you build and care about solid engineering.
We believe you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant engineering field, and 2-5 years of
experience with:
Android application development
Kotlin and Java
SQL and databases
Linux-based development environments
Network communication over HTTP, REST, WebSockets or gRPC
CAN or similar vehicle communication interfaces
You stay current in your field and share knowledge naturally with your team.
