ABOUT US Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces. Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. About the Role As Capture Manager you own pursuit strategy and execution across our regional opportunity set — from customer and requirement shaping through to bid-ready state. You drive win strategy, competitive positioning, teaming with industrial partners, and price-to-win development, then hand off to the tender and proposal function. You work in close coordination with the regional relationship owner and operate strictly within the company's intermediary-compliance and export-control framework. Capture is driven end-to-end across both region and HQ: the region owns customer relationships and in-country access; HQ owns the capture process, gate reviews, and price-to-win sign-off; you drive the pursuit across both and carry the compliance mandate within HQ rules. Responsibilities * Capture Ownership: Own capture plans, gate and milestone reviews, and win-theme development across the region pursuit set. Shipley-informed methodology, lean execution per our process. * Customer & Requirement Shaping: Build and maintain the customer picture; shape requirements and engagement ahead of formal procurement. * Win Strategy & Competitive Positioning: Develop and iterate win strategy, win themes, and competitive positioning in coordination with HQ. * Price-to-Win: Develop price-to-win models in coordination with HQ; ensure pricing strategy is grounded in competitive and customer intelligence. * Teaming & Local Partners: Manage teaming strategy and local industrial partner relationships, strictly within the compliance agreement and export-control rules. * Intermediary & Compliance Management: Manage agent and intermediary relationships under our anti-corruption framework and local export-control rules. * Relationship Continuity: Sustain and develop customer engagement established by previous wins; maintain active relationships across relevant staff and local offices. Candidate Requirements * 8–12+ years in defense business development or capture, with a demonstrated track record of won pursuits with local actors. * Deep, active network within the region defense ecosystem and relevant offices. * Proven experience managing local intermediaries and agents under a formal compliance framework, with a clean record doing so. * Strong working knowledge of regional defense procurement and decision-making dynamics. * Capture methodology competence: win strategy, win-theme development, gate reviews, competitive positioning, price-to-win modelling, teaming negotiation. * Compliance discipline: full adherence to our anti-corruption and export-control rules is a hard requirement — not a soft expectation. * Familiarity with counter-UAS, UAS, ISR, or C2 systems is a strong plus. * Relevant military or [Client/Government Authority] background is a strong asset for credibility and access. * Track record matters more than degree; technical, defense/security studies, or business backgrounds are all viable. * French and Arabic essential; working English required. We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
ABOUT THE ROLE The Logistics Coordinator owns the daily inbound and outbound logistics function across manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager, the role operates with significant autonomy: independently managing freight flows, customs compliance, dangerous goods, and international trade requirements without requiring hand-holding on routine decisions. This is not a pure execution role. The Logistics Coordinator brings senior operational experience and the judgement to run the function independently day-to-day — escalating where needed, but owning the full logistics picture between escalations. The right candidate has seen enough complexity — specialised goods, regulated shipments — to handle it confidently and knows when something requires attention from the Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES Inbound Logistics * Own inbound freight flows for both sites — booking, tracking, customs clearance, and goods receipt for components, materials, and equipment * Proactively manage supplier and forwarder relationships to resolve delays and protect the local production schedule * Process import documentation, verify HS/CN classification, and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure clean clearance * Escalate supply disruptions and compliance flags to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead with structured context and a proposed resolution Outbound Logistics * Manage outbound shipments to customers, integrators, programme offices, demonstrations, and trade events — from booking through to proof of delivery * Prepare complete export documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, and end-user certificates * Manage temporary export regimes and ATA carnets for demonstration and event shipments, including tracking and timely return * Independently assess regulations and international dual-use export control requirements for each outbound shipment — applying the correct treatment and flagging licence requirements before despatch Dangerous Goods * Independently classify, prepare, and document dangerous goods shipments under ADR, IATA DGR, and IMDG — lithium batteries (UN 3480/3481), propellants, and other regulated materials * Ensure packaging, labelling, marking, and documentation are correct on every DG movement without requiring supervision * Monitor freight partner compliance with DG handling standards and raise issues to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead Customs & Trade Compliance * Apply confident working knowledge of HS/CN tariff codes, incoterms, and customs regimes to ensure accurate and complete declarations * Maintain full compliance records — export licences, end-user certificates, DG records, and customs documentation — to audit standard * Stay current on changes to regulations, dual-use regulations, and customs procedures relevant to [Company Name]’s trade lanes Site Coordination & Continuous Improvement * Coordinate goods flows between manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate stock transfers, documentation, and storage standards for specialised hardware and dangerous goods * Identify process gaps, recurring issues, or compliance risks in the logistics function and bring structured improvement proposals to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead * Work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to align logistics priorities with operational needs CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Essential * 5+ years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain in a regulated sector — such as aerospace, advanced electronics, or similar * Able to operate the inbound/outbound logistics function independently — making sound daily decisions on customs, DG, and compliance without close supervision * Solid hands-on knowledge of customs documentation: HS/CN classification, import/export declarations, incoterms, and freight procedures across Europe, the US, and the Middle East * Direct working experience with regulations and dual-use export control regulations applied to physical shipments * Certified and experienced in dangerous goods — IATA DGR, ADR, or equivalent — with specific experience on lithium batteries and military-relevant materials * Familiarity with specialised goods logistics: packaging, marking, documentation, and transport standards for regulated hardware * Detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and calm under time pressure * Fluent French and English, written and spoken Preferred * Experience with temporary export regimes, ATA carnets, and trade event logistics * Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems (Odoo or equivalent) * Experience coordinating logistics across multiple sites WHY JOIN Harmattan AI ships specialised hardware to customers, partners, and events across the world in a complex regulatory environment. This role owns that function day-to-day with real autonomy — high accountability, varied scope, and a direct contribution to keeping one of our most technically ambitious programmes running on schedule. We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a hands-on, product-side Integration Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. In this role, your core mission is to develop, validate, harden, and fold software interfaces into our core product line, enabling our advanced systems to connect seamlessly with third-party and customer-provided data streams. This is a role for a focused, skilled coder who builds robust connectors rather than a systems-engineering generalist. You will own a multi-data-stream scope built to extend from one integration family to others over time, operating with a reusable-capability mindset so that each new integration is faster and more reliable than the last. You will sit at a key architectural boundary: you ensure the data gets into the system correctly (while integration engineering teams make sense of it), and you build the software capability (while Deployment Engineers manage site installation and commissioning). Note: This position is primarily office-based, requiring episodic travel to customer operational sites for integration validation and commissioning phases rather than a permanent forward-deployed site presence. RESPONSIBILITIES * Interface Analysis: Rigorously study third-party data interfaces and explicitly define how external data feeds will robustly flow into our software architecture. * Connector Development: Design, code, and deploy the critical software interfaces and backend connectors required to ingest and translate raw external data into our system's expected internal format. * Data Handling: Manage complex data ingestion architectures with absolute stability—ensuring high performance across data formatting, framing, coordinate frame transformations, precise timing/latency, and resilient error handling. * Validation & Testing: Test integrations end-to-end against highly representative data simulators, and travel to field sites to verify real-world correctness, latency bounds, and operational reliability. * Hardening & Productization: Harden all developed integrations, folding durable and reusable software capabilities directly back into the core product baseline to avoid per-deployment one-offs. * Regression Protection: Continuously support and build automated regression testing workflows for external integrations to guarantee that new core product releases never break active deployed connections. * Collaboration & Roadmap Feedback: Partner closely with integration engineering, product, and field deployment teams to surface critical integration requirements and drive them directly into the core product roadmap. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * Educational Background: A strong academic record—ideally in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline). * Software Engineering Background: Deep, practical experience in software engineering (experience with C++ or Rust are a plus), specifically focused on systems integration, backend data-interface engineering, and connector development. This role requires an active coder. * Data Interface Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with structured data feeds, framing/parsing algorithms, real-time streaming, or embedded data-exchange protocols. * Systems Thinking & Complex Projects: An avid learner with a demonstrated capacity to handle large-scale, complex systems spanning multiple subsystems, third-party systems, and external hardware-adjacent interfaces. * Linux & Operations: Highly comfortable operating in Linux environments; proficient at deploying, configuring, and debugging software stacks within demanding, operational settings. * Adaptability, Mobility & Field-Willingness: Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; embraces a "no-task-is-too-small" mentality. Must be fully willing and able to conduct episodic travel for on-site validation and work hand-in-hand with customer technical teams. * Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of leading and influencing diverse stakeholders—from junior engineering members to senior customer executives. * Languages: Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English. Additional regional languages are considered a strong asset. * Commitment: 100% dedication to Harmattan AI’s mission, vision, and ambitious growth plans, ready to go the extra mile to ensure operational excellence and fulfill confidentiality and clearance/vetting obligations. NICE-TO-HAVE * Direct experience integrating third-party data streams or hardware-adjacent devices. * Familiarity with industry interoperability and specialised data-exchange standards. * Prior domain background in large-scale technology or aerospace industries. * Prior experience working within vetted, highly confidential software environments. We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
