YOUR ROLE As a Line Impact Intern, you’ll take part in complex customer projects and make sure our platform delivers real results on the factory floor. You combine a hands-on mentality with good stakeholder management, analytical abilities, and understanding of manufacturing. You will work with our leadership and project teams from day 1 and become a great contributor for our success. WHY JOIN US? We are seeking a proactive and highly collaborative Product Quality Engineer (PQE) to join our dynamic team and champion this mission. This role represents an evolution from traditional Quality Assurance, embedding quality practices deeply within the entire product development lifecycle. You'll thrive in our fast-paced Agile environment by engaging early and continuously with Product Management and Engineering to build quality in from the start.  YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Ensure the high quality and performance of our enmacc platform throughout the entire development lifecycle * Foster a quality-focused mindset and culture of shared ownership across the team * Lead and coach teams on testing practices and risk-based decision-making * Own the release standards and quality framework: defining ticket refinement criteria, managing release readiness, and coordinating collaborative testing sessions * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to challenge assumptions, clarify requirements, and identify potential risks * Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test suites (e.g., UI, API) in collaboration with developers, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines * Perform exploratory and manual testing where it provides the most value to uncover usability issues and edge cases * Help the team learn from incidents and drive continuous improvements in our quality and delivery practices * Stay up-to-date with QA trends, evaluating and potentially implementing new tools and techniques, including AI-powered solutions, to enhance testing effectiveness YOUR PROFILE / WHAT YOU’LL NEED: * 5+ years of professional experience in QA  * University studies in Computer Science or in similar fields * Deep understanding of modern software quality processes, with a passion for shifting testing left * Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright) * Strong web application fundamentals (HTTP, REST) * Basic Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript experience and understanding * Knowledge of Continuous Integration * Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect perspectives and bridge gaps across teams * Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new processes, and continuously drive improvements Don't match every single requirement? YOUR ROLE Product Impact Engineers are our highest-ownership engineers, embedded directly inside the production environments of our customers - industry leaders including BMW, Audi, BSH, Stellantis, Still, TDK Electronics, and Co. You operate where our platform "Kosmos" meets the reality of the factory floor: you identify the hardest technical problems of customers, and you solve them through software, data, and AI, operating in the most critical, high-stake customers’ processes. You spend the majority of your time building: designing integration architectures, developing AI-driven applications, and delivering working solutions that create measurable impact inside customer environments, becoming a trusted technical contact for our customers.
