The Director of Workplace Technology owns the on-site technology experience across every Legora office — the rooms that connect,
the day-one onboarding that just works, the buildouts that come up clean — and leads the Workplace Technology Leads who own each
major site (Stockholm, London, New York, Sydney, Denver). You set the standards the sites run on, own the function's budget and
vendor framework, and are the technology counterpart to Workplace. This is a build-the-function role: the standards, the

The Role We’re seeking a Director of Communications based in New York City to build and scale Legora’s external narrative in North America across press, exec communications, thought leadership, and strategic storytelling. You’ll own how we show up publicly — shaping the stories, messages, and moments that define the category and cement Legora as the most credible and exciting voice in AI for legal work. Reporting to the VP Communications in Stockholm, you’ll be embedded with the local Marketing and GTM teams, and work closely with teams across Marketing, Product, GTM, Legal, and Leadership, to translate what we’re building — and why it matters — into narratives that resonate with customers, media, talent, partners, and the broader industry. You’re a storyteller with precision, taste, and the ability to translate complexity into clarity. You thrive at the intersection of strategy and craft — able to zoom out to narrative architecture and zoom in to sentence-level detail. You’re fast, structured, and obsessed with building trust through truth. Communications is one of Legora’s most strategic levers for shaping the category. In a space full of noise and speculation, credibility is currency — and narrative discipline is a competitive advantage. The stories you create will influence how the industry understands AI for legal work, and why Legora is defining the frontier. What You’ll Do COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY & NARRATIVE DEVELOPMENT * Build and execute Legora’s communications strategy for North America across earned channels. * Define messaging frameworks that clarify our category, technology, and customer value. * Develop and protect a consistent narrative that scales across teams and touch-points. MEDIA RELATIONS & PRESS OPERATIONS * Cultivate strong relationships with reporters covering AI, business, technology, and the legal industry. * Own the end-to-end press pipeline: pitches, briefings, media kits, and press activation moments. * Prepare spokespeople with clear talking points, briefing documents, and ongoing narrative coaching. EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS * Partner directly with Leadership to craft high-signal external comms: speeches, op-eds, keynote scripts, long-form posts, and interviews. * Ensure a consistent voice across channels, reinforcing credibility, clarity, and category leadership. THOUGHT LEADERSHIP & CONTENT CREATION * Turn complex ideas (AI capabilities, legal workflows, customer adoption, product architecture) into accessible, compelling stories. * Develop long-form narrative assets: white-papers, announcements, deep dives, and industry POVs. * Develop campaigns around launches, milestones, and category moments. ISSUES MANAGEMENT & STRATEGIC POSITIONING * Monitor category conversations, emerging risks, competitive narratives, and external debates. * Advise leadership on communications decisions that require nuance, judgment, and speed. * Ensure Legora shows up with truth, clarity, and authority. MEASUREMENT & OPTIMIZATION * Build a measurement framework for communications impact across reach, sentiment, share of voice, and narrative resonance. * Run experiments with formats, channels, and message angles — scaling what moves the needle. * Maintain a library of messaging, resources, and reusable story assets. What You Bring * 5–7+ years of experience in communications, PR, editorial, or strategic narrative roles — ideally in high-growth, technical, or product-led environments. * Demonstrated experience owning press narratives and securing coverage that shapes perception. * Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to simplify complexity. * Ability to build repeatable messaging frameworks and communication systems. * Experience preparing executives for media, speeches, or public commentary. * Analytical mindset with the ability to measure sentiment, coverage quality, and message pull-through. * Fluent English communication skills. THE ROLE You'll own Legora's relationships with a set of global and regional consulting and SI partners, working closely with their alliance leaders, practice heads, and delivery teams, and with Legora's own sales and engagement teams, to turn those relationships into successful client outcomes. We're building this program from the ground up. There's no inherited playbook, which means you'll have real say in how Legora goes to market with consulting partners, what we ask of them, and what we give them in return. You'll report to the VP of Partnerships and work closely with Sales, Engagement Management, and Legal Engineers. What You'll Do * Own strategic relationships with a portfolio of global and regional consulting and SI partners, building trusted relationships from practice leads to alliance executives. * Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with each partner, including account mapping, pipeline generation, and co-sell motions with Legora's sales team. * Work with partners to define how they position, sell, and deliver Legora to their clients - and make sure they have what they need to do it well. * Drive partner enablement, keeping firms current as Legora's product evolves. * Track pipeline health, run business reviews, and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue. * Bring partner and market feedback back into Legora to inform product and go-to-market decisions. What You Bring * 8+ years in alliances, partnerships, or business development at an enterprise SaaS or AI company - with actual pipeline built, deals closed, and partner relationships that held up over time. * Firsthand experience with how major consulting firms or GSIs operate: how they make decisions and team with technology partners. Time spent inside one of these organizations is a plus. * Experience building a partner program rather than inheriting one. You're comfortable when the structure doesn't exist yet. * Good commercial judgment: you can build a joint value proposition, work through multi-party deal complexity, and make the right call on when to push and when to step back. * Ability to run multiple things at once - relationship, pipeline, enablement, and business review - across several partners simultaneously. * Strong communication across levels. You can hold a conversation with a managing director and turn around and run a productive working session with a field AE. * Comfort with a product that ships fast. You'll need to stay current and make sure your partners do too. * Willingness to travel regularly to support partner relationships and joint customer work across the US and Europe. THE ROLE As Director, Cloud & AI Partnerships, you'll own Legora's relationships with our key cloud and AI platform partners. That means building the co-sell motion with their field teams, managing our marketplace presence, and making sure Legora is the product they reach for when a legal use case comes up. You'll work closely with Legora's sales team to bring cloud partnerships into live deals, and with Product to make sure our platform integrations support the story we're telling. This is a new function at Legora. You'll set the strategy, build the relationships, and figure out what a high-performing cloud partnership actually looks like for a company at our stage. You'll report to the VP of Partnerships. What You'll Do * Own Legora's relationships with key cloud and AI platform partners, building strong working relationships with their alliance, co-sell, and field teams. * Build and run the co-sell motion including account mapping with cloud field reps, joint pipeline development, and making sure Legora is positioned and enabled within the partner's sales teams. * Manage Legora's marketplace listings and transactable presence, ensuring we're discoverable and easy to buy through the channels our customers prefer. * Develop joint go-to-market plans with each partner, including demand generation programs, field engagement, and executive alignment. * Work with Sales to bring cloud partnerships into active deals where partner involvement accelerates the close. * Track partner-sourced pipeline, marketplace transactions, and co-sell activity, and use that data to prioritize where we invest. * Bring the outside in and share what you're hearing from cloud partners back into Product and GTM to inform how we build and position. What You Bring * 8+ years in cloud alliances, hyperscaler partnerships, or strategic technology partnerships at an enterprise SaaS or AI company. * A track record of building co-sell motions that actually generated pipeline — not just relationships, but deals. * Deep familiarity with how cloud and AI platforms operate: their partner programs, co-sell mechanics, marketplace economics, and how their field teams make decisions. * Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align partner strategy with commercial goals. * Strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility quickly with senior partner stakeholders. * Comfort building from scratch in a high-growth environment where you're expected to set direction, not just execute a playbook.
