DEINE AUFGABEN Wir suchen einen System Engineer mit Schwerpunkt Citrix, der unsere Kunden bei der Umsetzung und dem Betrieb von Virtualisierungsumgebungen unterstützt. Wir betreuen mittelständische und Enterprise-Kunden im Bereich Virtualisierung und End-User-Computing. Deine Aufgaben: Umsetzung, Rollout & Problemlösung * Du übernimmst die technische Umsetzung und den Rollout von Citrix-Infrastrukturen bei unseren Kunden. * Du arbeitest typischerweise in mehreren Kundenprojekten parallel – von der ersten Inbetriebnahme bis zur Optimierung im laufenden Betrieb * Konfiguration & Go-Live: Du übernimmst das Image-Management (MCS/PVS), richtest Profile ein (z. B. mit FSLogix) und konfigurierst Citrix NetScaler / ADC (Access Gateway, Loadbalancing) für einen sicheren und stabilen Betrieb * Troubleshooting & Optimierung: Bei Störungen oder Performance-Problemen übernimmst du die Fehleranalyse (3rd Level) und sorgst für schnelle, nachhaltige Lösungen * Dokumentation: Du dokumentierst die Umgebungen sauber und nachvollziehbar für Kunden und Team * Projektrealisierung im Team: Du arbeitest Hand in Hand mit unseren Senior Engineers und Consultants. Infrastructure & End-User Services Management * Manage, implement, and optimize end-user service solutions to enhance support function in the Costa Rica market * Oversee device management, endpoint security, and identity access controls, ensuring compliance with global standards. * Manage deployment, configuration, and lifecycle support for core user environments, including endpoint devices, collaboration platforms, business systems and remote access solutions. Technology Strategy & Architecture * Develop and refine country IT infrastructure roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability considerations. * Lead technology standardization efforts for network architecture, Active Directory, endpoint security, and service automation platforms. * Collaborate with global technology teams to integrate IT frameworks, including enterprise mobility, security policies, and system automation. * Drive continuous improvements in system architecture, ensuring optimized performance of IT assets across on-premises and cloud-based environments. Security, Compliance & Risk Management * Implement cybersecurity best practices in coordination with the Cyber, Risk & Compliance (CRC) team. * Ensure regulatory compliance across identity & access management (IAM), endpoint encryption, and data protection strategies. * Lead incident response protocols, overseeing vulnerability management, SIEM monitoring, and remediation efforts. What you'll need: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Role responsibilities Build & Data Platform Engineering Design and implement scalable data platforms and pipelines across cloud environments (Azure/Fabric, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake). This includes developing reliable batch, streaming, and near-real-time pipelines using technologies such as Spark and Delta Lake, and building ingestion, transformation, and curation workflows for both structured and unstructured data. You will implement modern data architectures including lakehouse patterns and medallion layering (bronze, silver, gold), ensuring systems are reusable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise needs. Enable AI, GenAI & Data Products Deliver high-quality datasets that support analytics, machine learning, causal modeling, and optimization systems. You will enable data pipelines for GenAI use cases (including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector-based data flows), as well as agent-based architectures and intelligent workflows, ensuring that data is model-ready and production-grade. Data Modeling, Orchestration & Automation Design scalable logical and physical data models for analytical and operational use cases, ensuring consistency across domains. Orchestrate workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt, Lakeflow, or equivalents, with strong focus on automation, reliability, and maintainability of end-to-end pipelines. Architecture, Governance & Observability Apply modern architecture patterns including event-driven and streaming architectures, and ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, lineage, quality, and access control (RBAC/ABAC). Establish strong data observability, including monitoring of data freshness, pipeline reliability, and SLA adherence, ensuring systems remain trustworthy and production-ready. Data Serving, Integration & Optimization Enable data serving layers (APIs, feature inputs, analytical endpoints) to support downstream systems, including ML and AI platforms. Continuously monitor and optimize pipelines and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
