Vi har ekspertise på de globalt ledende HW og SIM løsningene for Cellular IoT som  - kombinert med  IoT mobiltjenestekapabilitetene - gjør at vi kan bistå kundene i deres produktutvikling fra utviklingsfasen, pilotering, og regional utrulling til scale-up med hundretusener av enheter global.  Om rollen  Vi søker nå en IoT Solutions Expert til en fulltidsstilling ved våre kontorer i Oslo. Vi vil vurdere kandidater med både lang og kort erfaring og tilpasse rollen etter erfaring.  Som IoT Solution Expert vil du ha en bred og ledende faglig rolle i et kompetent miljø innen IoT løsninger basert på mobilnett- og satelitt-forbindelser.  Du vil være sentral i innovasjon i tråd med kunders krav og markedets utvikling. Du vil ha direkte dialog med globalt ledende leverandører av HW, SIM og løsninger for eSIM håndtering.  Samt jobbe tett med kunder for å utvikle nye og innovative løsninger for IoT-konnektivitet. Våre kunders produkter benyttes i hele verden, og består av løsninger innenfor elbil-lading, energi-måling, betalingsterminaler,  sporing av dyr/eiendeler/sykler/biler, samt ulike industrielle anvendelser.  For å lykkes vil du være en ekspert som samarbeider godt med et bredt teknisk og kommersielt miljø. Vi ser etter deg som er løsningsorientert og uredd i møte med kompliserte oppgaver. Vi verdsetter gode samarbeids- og kommunikasjonsevner, samtidig som det er avgjørende å arbeide selvstendig og proaktivt på eget fagområde.  Sentrale arbeidsoppgaver:  * Teknisk rådgivning og design: Jobbe tett med kunder for å analysere krav, designe og arkitektere innovative IoT-løsninger som tåler fremtidens krav til sikkerhet og skalerbarhet.  * Leverandørdialog og partnerskap: Samarbeide med globalt ledende leverandører av IoT-hardware, moduler, brikkesett (chipsets) og plattformer for eSIM/eUICC-håndtering.  * Utvikling og forvaltning av SIM portefølje: Bidra i samarbeid med tekniske team og leverandører med utvikling av nye SIM og eSIM produkter, samt forvalte eksisterende SIM og eSIM løsninger Com4 leverer på markedet idag.  * Testing og lab-arbeid: Evaluere, teste og feilsøke hardware, SIM-kort og eSIM-profiler for å sikre optimal ytelse og kompatibilitet i nettet.  * Automatisering og verktøyutvikling: Utvikle interne støtteverktøy, scripts og testskript for å automatisere arbeidsflyt og forbedre leveranseprosessene våre.  * Teknologisk scouting: Holde deg oppdatert på trender innen IoT, 5G og satellitteknologi for å sikre at Com4 alltid ligger i forkant av markedets utvikling.  * Presales: Delta aktivt som støtte for kommersielle team ved teknisk rådgivning av IoT løsninger ved presales- og anbuds-prosesser.  Ønskede kvalifikasjoner:  * Utdannelse: Bachelor- eller mastergrad innen datakommunikasjon, elektronikk, kybernetikk, IT, informatikk eller tilsvarende (relevant erfaring kan kompensere for manglende formell utdanning).  * Erfaring: Erfaring fra mobiloperatør (telco), elektronikkutvikling, nettverksarkitektur eller IT-konsulentbransjen er en stor fordel.  * Fagkompetanse: God forståelse for, og interesse for, spesialisert hardware, moduler og SIM/eSIM-teknologi.  * Tekniske ferdigheter: Erfaring med feilsøking på embedded-enheter, samt generell programmerings- eller scriptkompetanse (f.eks. MOBILE CORE ENGINEER – SUBSCRIBER DATA MANAGEMENT & SIGNALING - COM4 ABOUT US Com4 is a leading global service provider in the Internet of Things (IoT), also known as “Machine to Machine” (M2M). We offer mobile data subscriptions tailored to our customers' applications in their connected devices and equipment. This connectivity enables innovative solutions across many sectors, such as energy, security, transport, and welfare technologies. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Mobile Core Engineer responsible for subscriber data systems across legacy and 5G, ensuring consistency and correct behavior during authentication, provisioning, and mobility.  We will consider both senior candidates with extensive experience and juniors with shorter experience, and can adapt tasks and responsibilities in line with the candidate's profile. We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and fearless when facing complicated tasks. We value good cooperation and communication skills, while it is also crucial to work independently and proactively within your own field of expertise. To further strengthen our technical team, we are looking for an Mobile Core Engineer – Subscriber Data Management & Signaling who has competence or experience in several of the following areas, as well as an interest in learning more: * Mobile Core network architecture (3GPP releases/GSMA/IETF standards)  * Mobile Network functions across different technologies - 5G SA/NSA and 4G EPC  * Interfaces with adjacent systems in a mobile operator environment  * Operate and maintain subscriber systems: HLR / HSS/UDM/UDR & Policy control systems SPR/ PCF / Charging systems.  * Develop and maintain signaling routing on the STPs, DRAs, SCP & SEPP including NRF & NSSF for 5G SA.  * Support subscriber provisioning and lifecycle management   * Ensure data consistency across multi-IMSI / multi-SIM environments  * Support integration with other core network functions  * Technical vendor management, including feature requirements specification and follow-up  * Familiarity with protocols like SIGTRAN, Diameter, Radius, and HTTP.  * Monitor platform performance and ensure high availability   * Collaborate with vendor for onboarding new network functions  * Good understanding of cloud environments (Telco Cloud) and virtualization.  * Knowledge of APIs is a plus  * Experience in virtualization and Kubernetes is a plus  * Knowledge of roaming and interconnect scenarios   * Basic scripting or database querying (SQL)  * IoT experience is beneficial but not required  * Support automation initiatives for operational efficiency  * Strong teamworking and collaboration skills  * Customer-focused mindset with strong communication abilities  * Participate in an on-call rotation, troubleshoot issues, and drive incident resolution to minimize downtime.
