We deliver the half of the rocket that stays on the ground. As a Senior Fluid Systems Design Engineer at the Ground Systems
department of Isar Aerospace, you deliver the ground fluid infrastructure required for safe, reliable, and rapid test and launch
of the Spectrum rocket. This includes test-rigs for development, qualification, and acceptance of launch vehicle and propulsion
systems as well as entire launch bases. You work hand-in-hand with Propulsion and Launch Vehicle development teams to translate
their requirements into functional designs and concepts of operations. You tackle complex engineering challenges across multiple
projects and phases – from concept to detail design, execution, commissioning, and handover to site owner and operator.

Mission Brief We deliver the half of the rocket that stays on the ground. As Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end safety & compliance of the company’s ground infrastructure systems according to location and system specific standards. This includes direct and indirect technical involvement in safety & risk assessment processes, as well as component selection and safety system implementations. You are acting as technical lead, also serving in an interfacing function between the different ground system disciplines i.e. fluid, control and mechanical systems. Mission Brief We deliver the half of the rocket that stays on the ground. As (Senior) Project Manager in the Ground Systems department at Isar Aerospace, you will be managing the establishment and deployment of mid- to large-scale test and launch facilities. Situated in Munich, you will be playing a key role in managing the project from the initiation, over all engineering phases, through construction and commissioning until handing over to the on-site operations crew. The multidisciplinary team you will be working with consists of highly motivated engineers with an international background, fulfilling technical and co-ordinational roles in the project. You will coordinate timeline, costs, risks and top-level requirements with internal and external stakeholders, reporting to senior management. Your Role in Our Space Mission: * Technically manage a multidisciplinary, cross-functional project team, covering multiple departments * Manage an international constellation of internal and external stakeholders including contract setup and negotiation * Be responsible for reporting on the project status to management regarding ambitious timelines, budgets and top-level risks of the project * Ability to identify, assess and mitigate technical, financial and operational risks early and proactively * Closely collaborate with our internal customers of the rocket systems, using your technical know-how to realise the project according to set scope and timeline * Contribute to the establishment of new sites for Isar Aerospace by working closely together with service departments * Setup and improve workflows, processes, structures where necessary, to expedite project execution in collaboration with team managers across departments Qualification Checklist * B. Mission Brief As a Software Engineer in the Ground Control Systems team, you will contribute directly to the development and maintenance of critical libraries and tools for our in-house software. You will work on software that operates hardware and real missions, where correctness, robustness, and clarity truly matter. This role offers the opportunity to shape foundational systems used across teams, balancing clean architecture with real‑time and operational constraints. Your work will be utilized in aiding the development of new aerospace technologies and platforms. Your Role in Our Space Mission: * Implement and maintain modular control system libraries and reusable software components in Python, C#, TwinCAT.. * Contribute to real‑time system code running on RTOS environments, including sensor/actuator interaction. * Develop and support driver‑level and HAL‑layer software. * Help design and implement system interaction logic and state-machine‑based behaviors. * Build simulation tools, and testing frameworks to support software validation. * Work cross‑functionally with hardware engineers, PLC engineers, and UX teams to ensure coherent, safe system behavior.
