Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare
works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop
treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of
willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and
care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture. We already partner with 40K+ companies
of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 800+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across
France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
Finance & Strategy exists to enable better decisions, faster, at every level of the company, in a regulated, diverse and ever
changing business.
We succeed when ambitious goals become credible plans, when strategic bets are grounded in financial reality, and when the entire
company (not just Finance!) speaks the language of performance.
We set the right ambition, we monitor whether we're getting there, and we raise our hand when something needs to change.
We are not record-keepers. We are builders, partners, and challengers. We are looking for people who want to build, support
decision making processes and challenge the status quo.
The core responsibilities of the Finance & Strategy community are:
investor relations and financing

We are looking for a forward-thinking, experienced finance professional to own the financial controlling of Alan's French
entities.
You will be part of our Financial Controlling team, within Financial Reporting - the feedback engine of our finance system. Your
job is to own the numbers. You are not just reporting figures: you are the person who truly understands what they mean and drives
action from them.
You will work in full autonomy, in close collaboration with our Financial Data, Finance Strategy, and operational teams, serving
as the bridge between financial figures and the business.
The goal is to build the financial controlling function in France. That means defining what dashboards you need & writing the
specs to drive automation.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how financial controlling works at a fast-scaling company by:
and audit readiness

with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Strong ability to work autonomously, move forward independently and make clear
decisions even in ambiguous situations.
For this role we are looking to hire within the C1-E level range.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how
underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

ABOUT US Every company that scales lives or dies by its procurement function. It manages the vendor relationships that keep operations running, the financial guardrails that prevent overspend, and the supply chain resilience that determines whether a company survives a crisis or folds under one. And yet, the people doing this work spend 80% of their time in spreadsheets. Not because they lack ambition, because the tools haven't changed in 25 years. Pivot is building the AI operating system for procurement: enterprise-grade infrastructure that hands the manual grind to AI agents so procurement teams can do what they were actually hired to do, shape the strategic future of their companies. Our platform combines intake, approvals, vendor management, invoice matching, and ERP integrations in a single AI-native platform. We've lived this frustration firsthand. We built Pivot because we couldn't find what we needed, and because we believe procurement shouldn't be the last function to enter the AI era. It should be the first. The adventure started mid-2023 with three founders, former C-levels from fintech unicorns (Qonto and Swile) and highly experienced engineers from top-notch tech companies. We’ve since raised $40M in a Series B round, totaling our funding to $70M, coming from tier-1 investors. We’ve built a team of 70, are operating across 25+ countries, and are trusted by enterprise leaders like DoorDash, Lemonade, Wolt, and Flix We're looking for smart, execution-driven people who care about building something exceptional. YOUR ROLE We just raised a $40M Series B. This brings a whole set of challenges for the finance function in order to set solid foundations to continue hyperscaling. As Financial Controller, you will manage 3 external accounting firms across our 3 office geographies (UK, US, and France), doing everything from consolidating accounts to putting in place systems to automate and ensure financial visibility and control. You'll report to the Head of Finance. This is a builder role. We're a tech company and we expect you to think like one: automate what can be automated, learn new tools fast, and use Pivot to manage Pivot's own procurement. WHAT YOU'LL DO CONSOLIDATION & CLOSING * Own the monthly close process end-to-end. * Consolidate accounts across our multi-entity structure (France, US, UK) and automate manual processes through technology. * Deliver timely financial statements under French GAAP and IFRS where applicable. MANAGING OUR ACCOUNTING FIRMS * Coordinate and manage our three external accounting firms (France, US, UK). * Over time, help lead the transition to internalise accounting. REPORTING & CONTROLS * Build the reporting layer that makes financial data available in real time. * Own SaaS reporting to our Board of Directors. * Design and enforce internal controls across procure-to-pay, revenue recognition, and payroll. * Lead the annual statutory audit and manage tax compliance across jurisdictions (VAT, CIT, payroll taxes). * Own accounting policies and the overall integrity of financial data. FP&A & BOARD SUPPORT * Produce accurate budget vs. actuals and own the variance analysis. * Help prepare the yearly budget and reforecasts together with the Head of Finance. * Prepare board and investor reporting materials in partnership with the Head of Finance. * Support fundraising prep and future subsidiary openings as we scale. FINANCE STACK & AUTOMATION * Own the finance tech stack and how the pieces connect — ERP, billing, expense management, AP automation. * Identify and drive process improvements that remove manual work from the close cycle. * Use Pivot internally to manage our own procurement and vendor workflows. REQUIREMENTS * You have at least 3 years in audit/accounting/finance, including time in a Big 4 or structured audit environment. * Strong technical accounting knowledge. * You're comfortable with multi-entity consolidation across jurisdictions. * You're tech-savvy: you learn new tools fast and look for ways to automate before doing things manually. * You communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders — you make numbers easy to understand, not just accurate. * Fluent in both French and English. MINDSET * You have a sharp eye to detail and structured mindset. * You care deeply about accounting and finance — not just as a function, but as a lever for the business * You always want to keep learning and are comfortable confronting ideas. * You enjoy the cadence of an early-stage startup and want to bring the best of yourself. * You are a good team player and want to share good vibes with smart and caring co-workers.
