Founded in 2020 and based in the heart of Paris, C12’s mission is to be at the center of one of the biggest technological breakthroughs of the century and change the course of history by building a universal quantum computer.
At C12, we believe that achieving a true breakthrough in quantum computing requires rethinking the fundamentals. That’s why our founders—deeply rooted in academic and engineering excellence—have chosen carbon nanotubes as the building blocks of our quantum processors. This ultra-pure material dramatically reduces error rates, boosts performance, and minimizes hardware overhead—key ingredients for scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing. By crafting a unique approach that scales, we aim to revolutionize quantum computing just as silicon transformed classical computing.
Since our founding, we’ve raised over €25 million in funding, published 11 scientific papers, and secured 8 patents. Today, our fast-growing team of 80+, including 25 PhDs, has over 26 nationalities represented. We have our own cutting-edge lab spaces in Paris' historic Panthéon district, where scientists, engineers, and innovators work side-by-side to tackle some of the most exciting technical challenges of our time.
If you're passionate about shaping the future of quantum technology and want to make a real impact, C12 offers a unique environment to grow, learn, and innovate.
About Dioxycle Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year, representing over 2% of the world's emissions. At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our industrial-scale electrolyzer prototype, we are now working with our chemical and downstream offtakers towards First-of-a-kind plant deployment and subsequent commercial roll-out. We are supported by world-class funders including Bill-Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital and Gigascale Capital and have raised $40M to date. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you are passionate about outdoors or good food/art scenes, we have a location for you to join!) Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Process CAD Engineer to join our team at a pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting and early commercial deployment. We are looking for a technically rigorous and execution-oriented engineer with deep expertise in AutoCAD (P&IDs, Plant 3D, BOM integration) and strong fundamentals in process engineering. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around: - Own the development, drafting, and continuous improvement of P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Own the development of layout, plots plans and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Ensure strong integration between P&IDs, 3D models, line lists, equipment lists, and generally engineering/procurement documentation - Size process lines (gas and liquid) and core equipment based on process requirements - Perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications and datasheets - Interface with vendors and suppliers - Help structure and standardize Dioxycle’s engineering workflow We seek a Process (CAD) Engineer who is dedicated to advancing our mission and possesses the skills outlined below. Candidates with a minimum of four years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a candidate who is based in, or open to relocating, to Paris, France.
