About Dioxycle Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year, representing over 2% of the world's emissions.    At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you are passionate about outdoors or good food/art scenes, we have a location for you to join!)   Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Process CAD Engineer to join our team at a pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting and early commercial deployment.  We are looking for a technically rigorous and execution-oriented engineer with deep expertise in AutoCAD (P&IDs, Plant 3D, BOM integration) and strong fundamentals in process engineering. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around:   - Own the development, drafting, and continuous improvement of P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Own the development of layout, plots plans and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Ensure strong integration between P&IDs, 3D models, line lists, equipment lists, and generally engineering/procurement documentation - Size process lines (gas and liquid) and core equipment based on process requirements - Perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications and datasheets - Interface with vendors and suppliers  - Help structure and standardize Dioxycle’s engineering workflow   We seek a Process (CAD) Engineer who is dedicated to advancing our mission and possesses the skills outlined below. This role drives detailed technical design choices, secures delivery quality, and coordinates development and integration activities across multidisciplinary teams. You will thrive in this role if you: * Are comfortable owning architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy * Enjoy mentoring engineers and raising overall engineering maturity * Can clearly communicate technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and scalability concerns * Balance delivery needs with long-term platform health Key responsibilities * Define detailed technical design, components, interfaces, and integration patterns. * Lead development teams and enforce engineering standards and best practices. * Coordinate architecture, cloud/platform, data, QA, and business stakeholders. * Ensure delivery quality through testing, observability, and application security practices * Guide teams on GCP and AI Search implementation patterns * Lead technical discovery, estimation, and solution design workshops * Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies early * Ensure scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions * Contribute hands-on in complex and high-impact technical areas * Support industrialization and operationalization of AI and search use cases Must have qualifications * 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise environments * Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AI ecosystems * Experience with AI Search, conversational AI, and generative AI integrations * Strong application architecture, API design, and enterprise integration experience * Solid understanding of cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, software quality, observability, and cloud security best practices * Experience working with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code * Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisions * Ability to collaborate across architecture, engineering, cloud, and data teams * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions in Agile environments * Backend development experience with Java and/or Python * Advanced level of French and English If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. Le rôle implique d’être force de proposition sur sa conception, puis de piloter son implémentation de bout en bout. L’environnement s’appuie sur deux SRE seniors : l’un apportant une solide expérience interne et une expertise AWS, tandis que l’autre contribuera à structurer et développer les compétences autour de l’écosystème GCP.
