Enable Teams to Build Securely at Scale Are you passionate about cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and enabling teams to move fast without compromising governance? We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join our Azure platform team. Your mission is to make Azure easy, secure, and predictable to consume - through standardized landing zones, reusable modules, and self-service automation. Your Mission You’ll design and evolve Azure landing zones, subscription architectures, and governance models that enforce security and compliance by default. By building reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD-driven automation, you’ll empower product teams to provision and manage Azure resources independently - within clear guardrails. You’ll work as part of an enabling platform team, collaborating closely with network security and virtualization DevOps functions. You’ll ensure Azure platforms align with ISO 27001–style control frameworks, translating security and compliance requirements into policy-as-code, RBAC baselines, and automated guardrails. Instead of manual reviews or exception handling, compliance is embedded directly into landing zones and infrastructure modules - making secure deployments the default experience. What You’ll Do * Design and maintain Azure landing zones, management groups, policies, and RBAC. * Build and own reusable Terraform modules for Azure services. * Enable self-service Azure provisioning via CI/CD pipelines. * Collaborate with network security and virtualization teams on clear interfaces. * Provide reference architectures and guidance to product teams. Build a Stable, Scalable Hybrid Workplace Platform Are you curious about platform engineering, automation, and helping deliver stable, predictable infrastructure? We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support the ongoing operation and improvement of our hybrid compute and End‑User Computing (EUC) platform, spanning on‑prem virtualization and Azure services like AVD. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their technical depth in virtualization, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), automation, and modern platform engineering practices. Your Mission As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the virtualization and EUC platform, including on‑prem virtualization environments and integrations with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix. You’ll help maintain standardized configurations, assist with automation tasks, follow established platform patterns, and contribute to smooth day‑to‑day operations. By learning and applying best practices, you help ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and consistent as the business evolves. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, contributing to documentation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements—enabling teams across the organization to work efficiently without unnecessary manual effort. What You’ll Do * Support the day‑to‑day operation of hybrid compute and EUC platforms. * Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. * Help maintain and update golden images and standardized VM templates. * Contribute to Infrastructure as Code efforts using Terraform and Packer under guidance. * Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. * Follow automation‑first and self‑service principles, helping reduce manual work where possible. * Document processes, update runbooks, and participate in continuous improvement activities. What You Bring * Foundational knowledge of on‑prem virtualization (Hyper‑V / Azure Local; VMware exposure is a plus). * Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix, or a strong willingness to learn them. * Knowledge of structuring work in tools like Jira and Confluence. * An interest in automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices. * Understanding of or willingness to learn security/governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR). * Ability to follow established designs and standards, with a mindset focused on consistency and simplification. * Curiosity, reliability, and a desire to grow into more advanced platform responsibilities. Bonus Points For * Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python). * Understanding of zero‑trust principles or secure DevOps concepts. * Experience with monitoring tools Azure Monitor or Datadog. * Interest in knowledge sharing, or team collaboration. This is a key role in establishing and evolving our global data platform, with Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem as the primary technology direction. You will combine hands-on data engineering with architectural responsibility, helping us build scalable, governed, and automated data platform capabilities. The role is central to our ambition to move from fragmented and manually maintained legacy solutions toward a modern, domain-oriented data platform that enables trusted analytics, self-service, and future AI/ML use cases. You will work with Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse and medallion architecture, reusable data pipelines, analytical data models, and modern engineering practices. You will play an important role in enabling a federated, data mesh-inspired operating model, where domain teams can own and evolve their data products within clear technical and governance guardrails. Depending on your profile, you may also take architectural responsibility for selected platform capabilities, patterns, and technical decisions. Experience from other modern lakehouse platforms, such as Databricks, Spark, or PySpark, is highly relevant where it strengthens your ability to design scalable and automated data solutions. What You’ll Do * Help design, build, and evolve our Microsoft Fabric-based global data platform, including scalable pipelines, lakehouse patterns, and analytical data models. * Develop reusable engineering standards, templates, and governed data objects that enable domain teams to build and manage data products. * Apply modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, testing, and infrastructure-as-code principles such as Terraform. * Embed security, access control, GDPR/PII handling, lineage, and metadata requirements into platform delivery. * Work closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, business stakeholders, and domain teams. * Mentor colleagues and support the modernization and deprecation of legacy BI/DW solutions. What You Bring * Senior-level data engineering experience with strong hands-on delivery, architectural understanding, and ability to design scalable platform solutions. * Strong SQL and Python skills, with Microsoft Fabric experience or transferable lakehouse expertise from Databricks, Spark, PySpark, or Delta Lake. * Experience with production-grade data pipelines, medallion/lakehouse architecture, analytical data modeling, and domain-oriented data design. * Experience with modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and preferably infrastructure-as-code principles such as Terraform. * Good understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, access control, GDPR, and PII handling. * Collaborative mindset, with the ability to create reusable patterns and translate business and analytical needs into scalable technical solutions.
