ABOUT THE ROLE  Peloton is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our E-Commerce team to help scale Peloton's $1+ billion e-commerce channel. You will be responsible for growing and executing the technical roadmap of innovative features by partnering with your peers in product management, design, marketing, member support, international teams, etc. You should be comfortable moving back and forth between front end and back end, have a passion for technical and operational excellence, and relentlessly championing best practices in a continuously evolving and dynamic environment.  YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON  * Develop on modern front-end web technologies, architectures, and building high performant user-friendly experiences on the web.  * API development experience with Kotlin and/or Python.  * Help to evolve our platform to best in class by providing guidance to the teams in terms of technical strategy and excellency.  * Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability, scalability and performance. Your code should set the bar for how to approach the next generation of Peloton microservices.  * Conduct peer code reviews with empathy, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.  * Drive architecture meetings, cross-team dependencies, and design docs to help promote a culture of learning and constant improvement.  * Partner with stakeholders to identify technical trade-offs and to make informed technical and product decisions.  * Support other software engineers by taking part in pair programming and leading white boarding solutions, team discussions, and task breakdown.  YOU BRING TO PELOTON  * 6+ years of software development experience.  * Experience with Kotlin, Javascript/Typescript or similar languages.  * 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.  * Familiarity with accessing, querying and writing to data stores like PostgreSQL. * Familiar with deployment toolings/environments such as Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.  * Strong product and technical mindset.  * Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changed environment. * Passionate about technology, new ideas, and always willing to learn new things.  * Good understanding of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and SRE principles.  * Acute attention to detail and dedication to quality.  BONUS POINTS IF YOU  * Have experience working with subscriptions.  * Have experience integrating and deploying to managed cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).  * Have experience with microservices architecture and the backend-for-frontend pattern. * 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, e-commerce, credit card and payment related product operations.  * Are able to take a project from scoping requirements through actual execution and delivery.  * Participate in the software engineering community through meetups, conferences, or contributing to open-source projects.  * Have experience migrating a monolithic system to an ecosystem of microservices. * Have experience with or knowledge of TDD, DDD and Event Sourcing. * Worked on a system with internationalization and localization.   ABOUT PELOTON: Peloton (NASDAQ: PTON) provides Members with expert instruction, and world class content to create impactful and entertaining workout experiences for anyone, anywhere and at any stage in their fitness journey. SENIOR FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DEVICE SERVICES  ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - a strong front end/back end developer - to join our team. You will be working within an agile scrum team and building Device Management features to support every Peloton Connected Fitness Device. You are a hybrid API/web developer who is comfortable moving back and forth between the front and back end.
