Epic is looking for a Senior Concept Artist to join the Rocket League team. This is a role for someone who understands that great
concept art isn't just beautiful, it solves problems. You'll be responsible for the visual vocabulary that shapes arena, seasonal
events, and major visual systems, ensuring the work feels premium, intentional, and unmistakably Rocket League.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Epic is looking for a Technical Artist with a strong focus on material creation to join the Fortnite team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building visually rich, performant materials for characters and character accessories, using Unreal Engine and industry-standard texturing tools to deliver a wide range of effects. While this position favors a materials specialist, the ideal candidate brings a generalist mindset and a solid understanding of the broader game art pipeline. You’ll work closely with artists, engineers, and other tech artists to create scalable solutions that support Fortnite’s visual style across many platforms. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL * Create high-quality, game-ready materials for characters and other cosmetics * Build materials that leverage procedural textures and custom material logic to achieve distinctive visual effects * Generate textures and bake data using tools such as Substance Designer, Substance Painter, and Houdini * Develop reusable material frameworks and workflows that enable tech artists and artists of other disciplines to efficiently create unique assets * Collaborate with character artists, tech artists, and engineers to integrate materials with geometry, effects, and Blueprints * Optimize materials and textures to meet performance, memory, and scalability targets across multiple platforms * Contribute to improving Unreal Engine material pipelines and best practices WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating realtime game materials, ideally with character or cosmetic-focused examples * Advanced understanding of PBR workflows, real-time rendering constraints, and material authoring best practices * Proven experience creating complex materials using procedural textures and custom material behaviors * Hands-on experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter for texture generation and asset authoring * Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 5 art and material pipeline * Experience developing content for multiple platforms * A solid understanding of modeling and texturing fundamentals within a real-time art pipeline, strong collaboration skills, and a desire to own features and initiatives from inception through ship * Bonus: Tools, scripting, or pipeline development experience for Unreal Engine, Substance Designer, and/or Substance Painter * Bonus: Experience in setting up or working with modern character art pipelines, building custom tools, templates, or automation to improve material and texture workflows * Bonus: Familiarity with Blueprints, Python, or similar scripting languages and experience in secondary areas such as modeling, lighting, or VFX EPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFE We pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps). As a Senior Artist in Toca Boca World’s content team, you’ll take a leading role in creating quirky items and colorful environments, in line with a fun and playful art style that is constantly evolving. What you’ll be doing As a Senior Artist, you’ll be responsible for setting a high creative standard and ensuring that the visual quality of Toca Boca World continues to delight and inspire millions of players. You’ll work closely with the Lead Artist and Art Director to shape and maintain the artistic vision of the project, while also being a role model for your peers. You’ll create high-quality vector art assets, patterns and colour schemes, and collaborate with designers and programmers to ensure that your work integrates seamlessly with gameplay. Optimising 2D assets for performance without compromising quality will be part of your craft, as will contributing to ideation, concept development, and creative workshops. Your role goes beyond asset creation: you’ll mentor junior artists, sharing knowledge and guiding them to reach project standards. WE ARE FATSHARK We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 190 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. We have grown quite a bit over the last few years, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. We want to build the best first person co-op games together, in an approachable, fun and passion-driven way. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Cinematic Artist with a strong sense of composition, storytelling, and motion. You’ll work in real-time environments, blending your expertise in 3D, motion, and graphic design to craft high-quality cinematic sequences and visual storytelling moments that bring our worlds to life. In addition, you have a strong background or experience in animation, ensuring that characters’ movement and interactions feel smooth and captivating. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, from art and design to marketing and production, shaping the visual tone and pacing of our cinematics. The ideal candidate is both creative and technical, with an eye for cinematic framing, color, and atmosphere, and a hands-on approach to layout, animation, and camera work in Unreal Engine (and willing to learn Stingray). This is a 12-month temporary contract with a chance of becoming permanent.
