As a Functional Tester, you’ll focus on the functional testing of the Miles Enterprise Suite, an all-in-one solution covering
front, mid, and back-office operations, configurable to meet our customers’ unique needs. You’ll be responsible for testing newly
developed features, customer-specific configurations, and various patches and releases.
Depending on your experience and interests, your responsibilities can expand to integration testing, interface testing, and more.
You’ll join a multidisciplinary team working in an agile environment to deliver top-quality solutions to customers. This role
involves close collaboration with business consultants and developers.
An analytical mindset is key; you should know where to look for specific issues and have a detail-oriented approach to ensure
thorough documentation for your colleagues.

What you’ll do... * Extend Miles Core with new and improved generic features; * Perform technical analysis, design, and implementation for both back-end and front-end applications; * Address non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and technical platform upgrades; * Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the stability, scalability, and reliability of the Miles Core platform; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions. As a Senior Functional Tester, you are not just validating features — you are safeguarding quality, driving improvements, and shaping the way we test. You play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards while collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and fellow testers across teams. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUR ROLE As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and overall quality of new and existing features within Miles. You will: * Design, document and execute functional test scenarios and test cases * Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into structured test approaches * Detect, document and follow up on defects in close collaboration with development teams * Contribute to test automation initiatives and help improve automation frameworks * Support integration, regression, and performance testing activities * Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases * Safeguard QA standards, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement * Take ownership of testing initiatives within your domain As you grow further in this role, you will: * Lead testing efforts across projects or domains * Define and improve quality standards and testing strategies * Mentor junior testers and share best practices * Strengthen automation and performance testing capabilities within the team ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUR INTERESTS AND SKILLS Quality is your passion. ABOUT THE JOB As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of ERP software for the automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management industries. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with developers, analysts, testers, and consultants to deliver solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. The focus varies depending on the kind of software engineer (e.g., front-end, back-end, and database). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: * Building, improving, and customizing software modules to enhance the current application or develop new features. * Generic product development and/or specific customer-oriented projects. * Working in an agile environment using Scrum methodologies, participating in Scrum ceremonies, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. * Collaborating with business analysts, testers, and product owners to understand requirements and address challenges. * Sharing knowledge and best practices within the global developer community to enhance coding standards and innovation. * Analyzing existing code and designing technical solutions based on functional requirements.
