From our office in Porto, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who’s eager to contribute to bridge the gap between clients, development teams, and infrastructure operations while supporting the deployment and evolution of modern DevOps environments. What you’ll do... * Set up, deploy, and manage environments and microservices for internal and customer-facing applications, both on premises and in the cloud; * Support customers with the setup and maintenance of their environments and provide consulting when needed; * Contribute to the transformation and modernization of legacy components and deployment processes; * Research and experiment with modern technologies to improve systems, automation, and self-service capabilities; * Define and support deployment stack architecture and release management to ensure seamless deliveries of the Miles Enterprise stack. What you bring... * Experience in setting up, deploying, and managing microservices environments using technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm Charts, Rancher, AKS, or Terraform; * Experience working with at least one public cloud provider, preferably Azure; * Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical solutions and requirements; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset and attention to detail; * Fluent communication skills in English. As a Functional Tester, you’ll focus on the functional testing of the Miles Enterprise Suite, an all-in-one solution covering front, mid, and back-office operations, configurable to meet our customers’ unique needs. You’ll be responsible for testing newly developed features, customer-specific configurations, and various patches and releases. Depending on your experience and interests, your responsibilities can expand to integration testing, interface testing, and more. Your Main Tasks Will Be: * Defining test scenarios and test cases by reviewing requirements * Executing a variety of test scenarios * Reporting results and taking actions based on outcomes You’ll join a multidisciplinary team working in an agile environment to deliver top-quality solutions to customers. This role involves close collaboration with business consultants and developers. YOUR SKILLS AND INTERESTS An analytical mindset is key; you should know where to look for specific issues and have a detail-oriented approach to ensure thorough documentation for your colleagues. What We’re Looking for in You: * A minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing of software solutions * Proficiency in structured testing, test techniques, and test methodologies * Database knowledge, especially in Oracle and SQL Server; PostgreSQL is a plus * ERP, leasing, or mobility industry knowledge is a bonus (or we bring you up to speed through our extensive onboarding process) * ISTQB certification * Fluency in English WHAT WE OFFER At Sofico, you’ll join an international, multicultural company with over 30 years of success.
