Join us and play a pivotal role in transforming the automation landscape in heavy industries. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for graduate Robotics Engineers from Formula Student to join our team. If you've spent your nights training your perception pipelines, debugging state estimation at a test track, tuning your controllers you already have exactly the experience we're looking for. We build autonomous systems for some of the largest vehicles on earth in some of the harshest environments you can imagine: mining, quarrying, and construction sites. The problems are the same ones you know except the vehicles weigh 30+ tonnes and often operate 24/7. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and implement AI algorithms that improve the perception and navigation of our autonomous machines. * Work with radar, LiDAR, and camera data to build perception that holds up in dust, vibration, and rough terrain; conditions far worse than a rainy trackdrive. * Collaborate with software, hardware, and field engineers to integrate your work into the full autonomy stack. * Own features end to end: design, implementation, testing on real machines, and iteration. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: * Bachelor's or Master's degree (completed or nearing completion) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Formula Student Driverless experience with leadership experience a nice to have * Working knowledge of machine learning and/or autonomous/robotic systems (perception, state estimation, planning, control, simulation) * The FS mindset: hands-on, deadline-driven, comfortable with getting their hands dirty with real hardware and takes initiative to help improve how things are done. NICE TO HAVE: * Proficiency in Python and/or C++ * ROS 2 experience. WHY THIS IS THE NATURAL NEXT STEP AFTER FORMULA STUDENT: * We take machines and make them autonomous * Small team, high ownership, fast iteration * Most of our team are ex-Formula Student members * Learn from engineers with deep expertise in AI, robotics, and autonomous systems. WHAT WE OFFER: * Build physical AI for the world's largest off-highway machinery – making them intelligent, safe, and ready for every tough task * Join the pioneer in intelligent robotics backed by Point Nine & other Tier 1 investors * Combine cutting-edge robotics research in end-to-end learning & Vision Language Action Model with real-world heavy mobile equipment * Tailor your own career path, whether you like to become technical specialist or technical team lead * Experience a great team culture, beverages, and an amazing office environment BENEFITS: * Attractive compensation package and stock options. * Beverages on-site and regular social events. * Engage with top-tier researchers, engineers, and thought leaders. * Influence the future of robotic technologies and tackle significant technological challenges. * Assistance with relocation to Berlin.
