As a Freelance Video Editor at Shook Digital, you'll take raw creator footage and turn it into scroll-stopping UGC ads - iterating fast, remixing creatively, and using every tool available, including AI, to ship assets that win. WHAT YOU'LL OWN ✂ UGC PRODUCTION EDITING * Edit raw creator footage into polished, script-accurate UGC ads. Maintain the native, platform-first feel that outperforms studio content on TikTok. ↺ PERFORMANCE-DRIVEN ITERATIONS * Review ad results and iterate cuts based on what the data says. Swap hooks, recut bodies, and test new CTAs with speed and precision. ⚡ CREATIVE REMIXES * Repurpose winning assets into fresh variants. Combine hooks from one ad with bodies from another. Build the modular library that fuels our testing engine. 🤖 AI VIDEO EDITING * Use AI tools to localise and dub creator content across languages and AI voice overs. Stay ahead of what's possible with lip-sync workflows and apply it at scale. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * TikTok-native editing instincts — you know what a strong hook looks like in the first 2 seconds of raw footage, and you know how to build toward it. * Speed without sloppiness — you're comfortable turning around multiple cuts in a short window. Fast doesn't mean careless. * Performance mindset — you care whether your edits work, not just whether they look good. You read the results and apply them to the next cut. * AI tool fluency — you've used tools like ElevenLabs, or equivalent for dubbing and lip-sync. You experiment and stay current. * Modular thinking — you understand the hook / body / CTA structure and can edit to the module, not just the whole video. * Autonomous execution — you read the brief, ask the right questions once, and deliver. You don't need to be chased. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an entrepreneurial writer and editor to shape how ElevenLabs communicates in long form – from the blog to the stage. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with growth, research, engineering, product, partnerships and other teams to produce compelling content that engages and informs our most important audiences. You'll be responsible for: * Owning the ElevenLabs blog – setting the editorial standard, writing new content, and editing draft posts from other teams. * Interviewing domain experts, mining data sets, and monitoring internal updates to unearth the best ideas and stories. * Making complex business and technical updates legible through clear writing and compelling visualizations. * Defining the house style and ensuring ElevenLabs maintains a consistent voice. * Writing keynotes and remarks for senior leadership that stick in the minds of audiences. * Managing a network of freelance writers and editors to scale output as needed. REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer with a journalist's instincts – someone who knows how to find the story, sharpen an argument, and explain why it matters. You have a strong editorial point of view and you excel at turning unstructured ideas and data into a compelling and accessible argument. You care deeply about craft and quality, and you’re motivated to help others improve their own work too. Productions is a new marketplace that brings together our AI audio tools and a network of human experts to unlock high-quality, human-edited transcripts, subtitles, dubs, audiobooks, and more at scale for our users and customers. While Productions is just getting started, we already manage content workflows for some of the world's top YouTube channels, book publishers, and media & entertainment businesses.
