We are actively building the US market now, with budget, leadership time, and execution behind it. This role exists to turn that
effort into a repeatable revenue engine, moving from founder-led selling and early signals to a structured sales motion that
consistently converts demand into revenue.
As our first Senior Account Executive for the US, you will own that challenge end-to-end. You will not step into a fully built
machine, because it does not exist yet. Instead, you will help design it in real time, through customer conversations, live deals,
and constant iteration. This is a senior individual contributor role with direct access to founders, high visibility across the
company, and real influence over how we sell, how we position the product, and how we scale our go-to-market approach in North
America.

YOUR MISSION As a Senior Account Executive, you will have a critical role in expanding our reach in the US. Your tasks will include finding new business opportunities and driving sales, as well as utilizing the assistance of the marketing and pre-sales team to generate new leads. Your ability to influence end-users and C-level stakeholders will be essential to achieving your goal of boosting our presence and growth in the US. You will be a key player of a great US team which today consists of 1 Vp Sales, 5 Senior Account Executive, 3 Pre-Sales consultants, 2 Customer Success, 3 Marketing, 2 Software Support and 2 BDR. The US team have the full support of the European Neptune Software Team. As sales is inherently a social role, it is essential that the Senior Account Executive is able to network and build relationships with prospects in any environment. The ideal candidate should therefore be a confident, outgoing and extroverted individual who is comfortable interacting with others. Objectives: * Customer prospecting and lead generation * Collaborate with marketing on driving campaigns via marketing automation * Cold outreach via phone, and e-mail * Attend, organize, and sponsor local and regional networking events (ASUG, Special Interest Groups, Neptune Events, Trade Shows) * Nurture leads * Regular contact via email or phone, and in person * Collaborate with marketing to drive marketing automation * Conduct Demos (Both independently & with support from presales) * Advance opportunities through the sales cycle and bring to closure YOUR PROFILE * 4-Year Degree from an accredited university * Demonstrated enterprise sales success * Minimum of 8 years’ experience selling software in a B2B environment * Knowledge of the SAP ecosystem * Ability to build relationships with Global 1000 senior line-of-business and IT executives, as well as operational managers * Proven 'hunter' (new business) selling skills * Passion for working with emerging technologies and a desire to deeply understand and demonstrate Neptune’s functionality, use cases, as well as business and technical elements * Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills * Experience with, and effective execution of, a complex, solution-based enterprise sales process * Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth software company where change is a constant * Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with Neptune team members WHY US? * Uncapped commission structure * Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), covered 100% for employee, and 80% for dependents and no waiting period for participation * Insurance (Life, ADD, STD, LTD) * 401k, vested immediately and no waiting period for participation * Paid Time Off (20 Days paid vacation accrued annually, 10 days of PTO, 8 Paid Holidays)

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Senior Account Executive to power Beam's expansion in the US with our flagship platform, Beam Notes. Working in an elite team directly with some of the most senior salespeople at Beam, this pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our growth in the US: securing landmark partnerships, establishing our impact, and directly contributing to our ambitious scaling journey. You will be at the forefront of bringing Beam Notes to key sectors, selling into state and local government and not-for-profits initially, and opening new verticals as time goes on. Beam Notes is an AI-powered tool, already used and loved by over 100,000 frontline workers, designed to dramatically reduce the administrative burden on the people delivering care. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, with real autonomy to test, refine and document the go-to-market motion as you go. You've done this before at a high-growth startup: built pipeline from nothing, closed new logos without a mature brand or playbook behind you, and left the sales motion better than you found it. YOU'LL BE * Executing our go-to-market strategy: Taking ownership of your market and driving the sales motion within it, testing, validating and deepening product-market fit in the US. * Building and owning your pipeline: Independently identifying, engaging and nurturing prospects to build a robust, probability-weighted pipeline against ambitious sales targets. * Closing deals: Presenting the value proposition of Beam Notes, negotiating terms and closing deals with key decision-makers, including multi-stakeholder deals with longer, more complex cycles. * Cultivating strong relationships: Building trust with stakeholders at all levels of prospect organizations, from frontline leads to executives. * Building the playbook: Systematically testing, learning and documenting the strategies, messaging and processes that let us repeat and scale success. Your insights become the foundation others sell from. * Providing market feedback: Relaying insight from the US market to the product and leadership teams to inform product development and market strategy. * Reporting and tracking progress: Maintaining accurate records in HubSpot to enable accurate forecasting and performance analysis. YOU'LL HAVE * A track record of closing new logos at VC-backed startups: You've carried a quota and won net-new business in a high-growth, early-stage environment, where you generated your own pipeline and closed without the air cover of an established brand or a finished playbook. * Exceptional drive and resilience: You are exceptionally results-driven, persistent in the face of challenges, and possess a strong self-starter mentality. * An entrepreneurial builder's mindset: You excel in ambiguity.
