An overview of this role
As the Area Vice President, LATAM, you'll build and lead a high-performing second-line enterprise sales organization that helps
customers adopt GitLab's single DevSecOps platform to power their software delivery. You'll manage a strategic account team
focused on enterprise accounts. You'll set and execute the strategy to land new enterprise customers and expand existing accounts
in a predictable, purposeful way. Reporting to the Area Vice President, Enterprise Sales - AMER, you'll recruit and develop
diverse sales managers and own the sales process and forecasting for the region. You'll also shape how we partner with marketing,
channel, alliances, product, and engineering to drive strong annual recurring revenue growth in core markets in your first year
and beyond.

About the team
The LATAM - Brazil team focuses on adoption and expansion of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform with our largest and most
strategic customers in the region. We are a distributed group of Strategic Account Leaders focused on complex sales cycles and
long-term customer success. We work asynchronously across the region, using GitLab to plan, collaborate, and forecast, while
focusing on predictable annual recurring revenue growth and purposeful expansion in core markets.

AN OVERVIEW OF THIS ROLE As Area Vice President, you'll lead GitLab's Financial Services sales organization and shape how we win new customers, expand existing relationships, and deliver predictable growth. ABOUT THE TEAM The Enterprise Sales team is responsible for driving growth, adoption, and long-term value for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform with our largest and most strategic customers. As a Strategic Account Executive focused on San Francisco, you'll be part of a distributed, all-remote team that works asynchronously across regions and partners closely with GitLab's sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams. Remote-Global The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location.
