ABOUT THE ROLE: The role As an ambitious Outbound SDR that will join our North American sales team, you will have diverse sales expertise and experience in a creative environment. (WORKING USA HOURS) BASED IN LATAM Your goal as an Outbound SDR will be to first research and prospect new leads which you will then convert into appointments with doctors. An overview of this role This position is 100% remote and will be based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands. As a Senior Manager of Business Development, you will hire, onboard, and mentor Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in your region, ensuring their success at GitLab. You'll partner closely with the sales team, and ultimately drive pipeline and results. In this role, you will report to the Director, Business Development (EMEA). What you’ll do * Train other members of the BDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities. * Ensure BDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s * Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs. * Work closely with the Events and Digital teams on Field events and targeted ad and nurture campaigns. * Work closely with Sales and other members of the Sales Development Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes * Work closely with Sales, Senior SDR Manager/Director, as well as the Regional Sales Directors to identify key company accounts to develop. * Work in collaboration with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts. YOUR MISSION As a Sales Development Representative at Index.dev, your mission is to generate high-value business opportunities with startups, scale-ups, and enterprise technology companies—primarily in the United States and global markets. You will act as the first strategic touchpoint between Index and prospective clients, positioning our expanded capabilities across: * Dedicated engineering teams * Staff augmentation * End-to-end software development * CTO advisory and product delivery * Specialized engineering solutions following our strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives Your role goes beyond outbound prospecting—you will help accelerate Index’s next growth chapter by opening strategic conversations, identifying expansion opportunities, and building long-term relationships with decision-makers across product, engineering, talent, and executive leadership teams.
