role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and
expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this
role is $285,000 - $330,000 per year.

About Jinba Jinba (jinba.io) is a Y Combinator (W26) company building AI workflow automation for the enterprise. We convert natural language prompts into live APIs and MCP servers, serving 40,000+ enterprise users, including major banks and insurance companies. The Role This is our first design hire. You'll be the product designer at a fast-moving AI company, shaping how enterprises interact with automation tools from the ground up. Until now, our founders and design engineers have owned UI/UX. As our product matures and our enterprise relationships deepen, we are building out our Product Org and looking for a Product Designer who can own the full design cycle, from discovery through to shipped product. You'll report to the Head of Growth and work closely with our founders and our product engineering team. What You'll Do * Discovery & Research: Talk directly to enterprise clients, study the competitive landscape, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and user experience. * Prototyping: Create low-fidelity concepts quickly, run them by engineers and stakeholders, iterate based on feedback, and develop high-fidelity designs ready for implementation. * Collaboration: Work side-by-side with product engineers from design through shipping. You're embedded in the build process, not handing off specs over a wall. * Product Thinking: Contribute to product strategy, not just pixels. You understand technical constraints and design within them. * Experience with enterprise UX — you know how to design for complex workflows, power users, and multi-step processes. * Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and prototyping tools. * Self-directed and high-agency.
