Check out our Life at Yubico Page on LinkedIn and our awards here.   The Role: Yubico is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is innovative and has a passion for creating software to drive new custom hardware platforms. In this role, you will be part of the team that brings new ideas from prototypes to production applications that would leverage our YubiKey devices. Our team is focused on building integrations between software platforms and the YubiKey, as well as building out our own internal tools that are used during the YubiKey manufacturing process. The team leverages a variety of tools, including GitHub for source management and review, Jira for task management, and Confluence for internal documentation. In this role, you will write software primarily in C/C++ using the IDE of your choice.  Tasks & Responsibilities: * Experiment, create prototypes and refine your work based on user feedback, industry standards, and business needs * Work collaboratively across functions with our Product Management, Hardware, and Production teams * Hone your skills in designing and developing compelling experiences using native and cross-platform technologies * Have an opportunity to develop your skills for working with embedded hardware platforms Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor or MS in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience, including 5+ years of software engineering experience * Experience with developing embedded software or firmware * Familiarity with either Windows or Linux system internals and services, such as synchronization primitives, efficient file system access, and logging facilities * Proven experience building software using C/C++ and is comfortable with bit manipulation and binary arithmetic Preferred Qualifications: * Experience building applications that leverage background services and tasks * Some experience building desktop applications on Windows   U.S. benefits designed for your overall well-being: Health coverage. In this role, you will be part of the team that brings new ideas from prototypes to the mass-producible hardware. You will also be responsible for analyzing hardware design for manufacturability, security, and reliability.  Tasks & Responsibilities: * Electronic Design from concept to implementation and hand-over to manufacturing at scale * Testing prototypes, HW/FW troubleshooting, solving design and manufacturing issues * Collaborating with FW/SW/Test/Mfg teams to deliver compatible, reliable products * Overseeing the manufacturing process of electrical components/assemblies to ensure they meet the design specifications Basic Qualifications: * BS or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline  * 7+ years of experience designing embedded hardware systems, using EDA/PCB design software (Altium or Allegro/Cadence ) Schematic Capture, Layout / Routing and DFM/DFA  * Experience with Bus communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, RS232/RS485, PCIe, 10/100/1000 Ethernet , CAN) * Experience with Microcontrollers, preferably STM, TI, Freescale, NXP, and relevant software stacks * Use of relevant tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers * Testing and Debugging, creating test protocols, reports and SOPs Preferred Qualifications: * Designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance * Wireless technologies (NFC, Bluetooth, BLE, BLE Mesh, ZigBee ) * Hardware (PCB, JTAG, UART, SPI, ROM, microcode, custom ASIC/FPGA) x86 and/or ARM chipset and firmware security (TPM, UEFI, TrustZone, secure boot) * Experience with mechanical fixtures and automation * PLM tools experience ( Arena or Agile )  * Collaboration Tools experience (JIRA/Confluence)   U.S. benefits designed for your overall well-being: Health coverage. The Role We’re looking for a senior Product Manager to build user-facing products that impact hundreds of thousands of legal professionals. You’ll have the opportunity to join and lead one of the product teams shaping the core of the Legora platform, working across surfaces like our drafting products, tabular review, task management, and research and regulatory products. Wherever you land, the mandate is the same: build 0-to-1 products that help revolutionize a legacy profession. You’ll do it inside an AI-native company growing at hyper speed, with the autonomy to take ideas from a blank canvas to products that thousands of lawyers rely on every day. What You'll Do * Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of our core user-facing product areas, such as drafting, tabular review, task management, or research and regulatory products. * Build 0-to-1 products and features from the ground up, taking ideas from concept to launch and iterating quickly based on real user feedback. * Partner closely with design and engineering to ship polished, AI-native experiences with a strong bar for craft. * Deeply understand how legal professionals work, and translate their needs into intuitive, opinionated product decisions. * Use AI as a core building block, shaping how legal professionals work with and trust AI in their day-to-day. * Run experiments, instrument the right metrics, and turn data and qualitative insight into a prioritized roadmap. * Move fast in a high-growth environment, balancing speed with quality and a relentless focus on user impact. What You Bring * An experienced, senior Product Manager with a strong background building user-facing products at high-growth B2B SaaS companies. * A track record of building 0-to-1 products that have had a major impact on users. * Hands-on experience building AI-native products, where AI is a central part of the experience. * Strong product judgment and the ability to balance qualitative insight with quantitative rigor. * Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of partnering tightly with design, engineering, and other functions to ship products. * A genuine interest in revolutionizing a legacy profession and making complex software feel simple, fast, and enjoyable. * High standards, low ego, and a bias toward ownership and outcomes.
