Sapien is rethinking how finance teams operate in the age of AI. We’re building toward an autonomous CFO -- systems that run
company financials end-to-end. Our platform analyzes complex financial data in real time to increase decision cadence, prevent
costly mistakes, and surface value. Sapien has caught multi-million-dollar errors, saved thousands of jobs, and returned
significant dollars to customers’ bottom lines.
We partner with traditional businesses—manufacturing, healthcare, restaurants, and large enterprises to deeply understand and
automate their financial workflows. We’re HQ’d by Madison Square Park in NYC and backed by General Catalyst, Neo, and top
operators from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (over $9M raised).
Every wave of enterprise software created a new kind of operator. On-prem had implementation managers. SaaS had solutions
engineers. Agentic AI demands something different: people who don't install software, they deploy intelligence. They rewire how
finance teams think, work, and decide.
That's this role. You'll be the bridge between Sapien and the finance orgs we serve, dropping into customer environments, learning
their workflows cold, and redesigning them around our agents. But deployment is only half of it. You'll sit at the center of the
company: feeding what you learn in the field back to sales, shaping the product roadmap with engineering, and giving the founders
ground truth on where the market is going. Part strategist, part operator, part finance translator. The connective tissue between
customers, sales, product, and leadership.
If you've ever watched a finance team grind through a process and thought "there has to be a better way", we built this role for
you.

Who we are Sapien is rethinking how finance teams operate in the age of AI. We’re building toward an autonomous CFO—systems that run company financials end-to-end. Our platform analyzes complex financial data in real time to increase decision cadence, prevent costly mistakes, and surface value. Sapien has caught multi-million-dollar errors, saved thousands of jobs, and returned significant dollars to customers’ bottom lines. We partner with traditional businesses—manufacturing, healthcare, restaurants, and large enterprises—to deeply understand and automate their financial workflows. We’re HQ’d by Madison Square Park in NYC and backed by General Catalyst, Neo, and top operators from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (over $9M raised). THE ROLE We're hiring a Founding Growth hire to build the machine behind Sapien's go-to-market. While our BDR owns conversations, you own the system: the infrastructure, automation, channels, and experiments that make every part of our GTM motion faster, smarter, and more repeatable. This is a builder's seat, not an operator-of-someone-else's-playbook seat. You'll stand up the growth stack from scratch, run experiments across channels, and flex into whatever the company needs next, from marketing support to ops projects to founder-led initiatives. You'll work directly with the founders and sales team, and as we scale, this role becomes the foundation for growth, marketing ops, or RevOps leadership. WHAT YOU'LL DO Growth Infrastructure * Build and own the growth stack: CRM architecture, enrichment, automation, lead routing, dashboards, and reporting. Clean data, clear pipeline visibility, no leaks. * Engineer leverage with AI: automated research, personalization at scale, workflow agents. If a task is repeatable, you systematize it. * Define the metrics that matter and make them visible: funnel conversion, channel performance, pipeline health. Channels & Experimentation * Run structured experiments across channels: outbound systems, paid, content distribution, events, partnerships. Measure what works, kill what doesn't, double down fast. * Support marketing execution: landing pages, campaigns, email programs, and the distribution behind our content and narrative. * Build repeatable playbooks from what wins, so every successful experiment becomes a permanent channel. Growth & Ops Flex * Partner with the founders on high-priority initiatives across GTM, ops, and strategy. You're the utility player who makes things happen. * Support sales and deployments with research, tooling, and process improvements wherever there's leverage. * Feed structured signal back to leadership: which channels are working, where CAC is trending, and where the next opportunity is. What we're looking for * Builder mentality. You'd rather design the system than run someone else's playbook. You see gaps and fill them without being asked. * 2–4+ years of experience in growth, RevOps, consulting, banking, or early-stage startups. You've built systems that other people rely on. * Process-obsessed & technically fluent. You build clean systems — CRM hygiene, dashboards, documented workflows. You don't let things slip through cracks. You don't need engineering to ship most of what you build. * AI-native. You use AI tools daily and you're energized by what's possible. You'll be expected to leverage AI across your workflows. * High agency. You operate with speed and urgency in ambiguous environments. You don't wait for permission — you identify what's next and do it. HOW YOU WORK (VALUES WE CARE ABOUT) * AI-native. You’re energized by applying AI to transform how businesses run. * Ambiguity-shaping. You turn nebulous problems into a first pass and drive to resolution. * Extreme ownership. You identify what’s next—and do it. If you say it, it gets done. * Speed & hustle. You bias to action and move with urgency without sacrificing quality.

We’re HQ’d by Madison Square Park in NYC and backed by General Catalyst, Neo, and top operators from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (over $9M raised). THE ROLE We're hiring a Founding BDR to own pipeline generation at Sapien. Your job is simple to state and hard to do: put Sapien in front of the right CFOs and finance leaders, at scale, and keep the sales team fed with qualified pipeline. This is not a dial-the-phone-200-times BDR seat. You'll own the top of funnel end-to-end: who we target, what we say, which channels we use, and how we iterate. You'll work directly with the founders and sales team, sit close to the deals you source, and be first in line for what comes next, whether that's an AE seat or leading the BDR team as we scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO Pipeline Generation * Build and run targeted outbound campaigns to finance executives, from ICP definition to messaging to sequencing to iteration. * Source, qualify, and progress leads through the funnel. You own top-of-funnel and pipeline velocity. Your scoreboard: qualified meetings booked and pipeline created. * Experiment relentlessly across new channels, angles, and tactics. Measure what works, kill what doesn't. Sales Support * Support live deals through research, competitive intel, call prep, and follow-ups. * Partner with the founders and sales on positioning, messaging, and narrative. You'll help shape how the market sees Sapien. Market Signal * Develop a deep understanding of finance workflows and the modern finance tech stack to sharpen every touchpoint. * Feed structured signal back to product and leadership: what's resonating, what's not, and where the opportunity is. What we're looking for * Builder mentality. You'd rather design the system than run someone else's playbook. You see gaps and fill them without being asked. * 1–4+ years of experience in GTM, sales, growth, consulting, or finance. You've done some version of pipeline work and want to go deeper. * Exceptional communicator. You write outbound that gets replies. You speak with confidence to senior finance leaders. Your writing is crisp and persuasive. * Process-obsessed. You build clean systems — CRM hygiene, dashboards, documented workflows. You don't let things slip through cracks. * AI-native. You use AI tools daily and you're energized by what's possible. You'll be expected to leverage AI across your workflows. * High agency. You operate with speed and urgency in ambiguous environments. WHO WE ARE Sapien is rethinking how finance teams operate in the age of AI. We're building toward an autonomous CFO—systems that run company financials end-to-end. Our platform analyzes complex financial data in real time to increase decision cadence, prevent costly mistakes, and surface value. Sapien has caught multi-million-dollar errors, saved thousands of jobs, and returned significant dollars to customers' bottom lines. We partner with traditional businesses—manufacturing, healthcare, restaurants, and large enterprises—to deeply understand and automate their financial workflows. We're HQ'd by Madison Square Park in NYC and backed by General Catalyst, Neo, and top operators from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (over $9M raised). THE ROLE We're hiring our Founding Product Marketer to own how the market understands Sapien. Finance teams are drowning in AI noise. Your job is to cut through it: sharpen our positioning, build the narrative that makes CFOs lean in, and arm every customer-facing conversation with messaging that lands. You'll sit at the intersection of product, sales, and the founders. You'll take what engineering is building and turn it into language buyers act on. You'll take what sales hears in the field and turn it into sharper positioning. And you'll own the launches, assets, and narrative that compound as we scale. This is a zero-to-one seat: no playbook, no existing brand machine, full ownership of how Sapien shows up in the market. WHAT YOU'LL DO POSITIONING & NARRATIVE * Own Sapien's core messaging and positioning: who we're for, what we replace, and why now. * Build and refine buyer personas across CFOs, FP&A, and finance leaders, grounded in real customer conversations. * Shape the company narrative with the founders, from website copy to investor-facing materials to category POV. LAUNCHES & ENABLEMENT * Own the product launch process end-to-end: what we ship, how we frame it, and how the market hears about it. * Arm the sales team with the assets that win deals: pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive intel. * Turn customer wins into proof: case studies and stories that make the next deal easier than the last. MARKET INTELLIGENCE * Develop a deep understanding of finance workflows, the modern finance tech stack, and the competitive landscape. * Feed structured signal back to product and leadership: how buyers talk, what objections recur, and where the category is heading. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 4–7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally at a startup or high-growth company where you were a generalist doing the work, not just managing it. * Full-stack marketing execution. You've personally written blog posts, run ad campaigns, designed assets, pitched press, and built a content calendar. You're not specialized in just one channel, rather working across the board. * Strong design sense. You can produce polished visuals in Figma, Canva, or similar tools. You don't need to be a professional designer, but your work should look like it came from one. * Writing that lands. You can write a case study that a CFO forwards to their team, a LinkedIn post that gets shared, and ad copy that converts across different voices * Data-literate. You understand pipeline attribution, CAC, ad spend ROI, and content performance metrics. You make decisions based on what the numbers say. * Comfortable moving fast in ambiguity. There's no playbook yet. You'll build it, run it, measure it, and iterate. HOW YOU WORK (VALUES WE CARE ABOUT) * AI-native. You're energized by applying AI to transform how businesses run. * Ambiguity-shaping. You turn nebulous problems into a first pass and drive to resolution. * Extreme ownership. You identify what's next—and do it. If you say it, it gets done. * Speed & hustle. You bias to action and move with urgency without sacrificing quality.
