Role Overview As a Lead Client Partner for Key Accounts in the Greater China Region (GCR), you will develop and grow strategic partnerships with our most valued export advertisers — with a particular focus on Retail and Ecommerce clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact, working at the intersection of business strategy, media expertise, and platform innovation to help clients achieve their growth ambitions on Pinterest. In this role, you will combine deep commercial acumen, data-driven storytelling, and full-funnel platform expertise to drive sustainable revenue growth and deliver measurable outcomes for clients. You will operate at a senior level — influencing C-suite stakeholders, shaping multi-year account strategies, and acting as a bridge between client needs and Pinterest's internal capabilities across Product, Measurement, Creative, and Performance Solutions. This is a high-impact, externally-facing role that requires both strategic vision and executional excellence. What You'll Do: * Own the long-term strategic growth agenda for a portfolio of top-tier Greater China export advertisers, setting joint partnership objectives, defining success metrics, and driving sustained investment growth on Pinterest. * Operate 6–12 months ahead of client planning cycles — anticipating business needs, aligning pitches to annual and quarterly planning cadences, and proactively shaping how clients think about Pinterest within their broader media mix. * Build and own executive-level relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders at flagship partner organizations, serving as Pinterest's most senior external face and ultimate point of accountability for the partnership. * Identify and lead new business opportunities within and beyond existing accounts — expanding into new budget pools, lines of business, and untapped use cases to drive incremental revenue growth. * Serve as the final escalation point for client issues, marshaling the right internal resources across Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, and Performance Solutions to resolve complex challenges. * Engage cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for client needs, influence Pinterest's product roadmap, and unlock bespoke solutions for top-tier partners. * Define and drive multi-year learning agendas in partnership with clients, establishing a joint measurement system of truth and guiding executive-level investment decisions based on strategic insights. * Represent Pinterest externally at industry events, client forums, and key vertical initiatives — shaping Pinterest's market narrative and building a broad network across the GCR Retail and Ecommerce ecosystem. * Champion Pinterest's full suite of advertising solutions — including upper-funnel brand, lower-funnel performance, and AI-powered products — at the executive level, translating platform innovation into business value for clients. * Integrate AI tools and workflows into how you manage and grow client partnerships, identifying opportunities to use AI-driven insights to inform strategic recommendations and accelerate client outcomes. * Provide leadership and mentorship to Client Account Managers and other team members, elevating the overall quality of client delivery and fostering a high-performance team culture. What We're Looking For: * 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or a client-facing strategic role, with a strong track record of managing top-tier client relationships and consistently exceeding revenue targets. * Proven experience owning and growing C-suite and VP-level relationships at large advertiser or agency organizations, with the gravitas and credibility to serve as Pinterest's most senior external representative. * Deep expertise in Retail and/or Ecommerce advertising, with a clear understanding of performance and growth drivers for export-focused advertisers operating in and from Greater China. * Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with demonstrated experience setting multi-year investment growth agendas, defining joint KPIs, and driving sustainable business outcomes for flagship partners. * Experience leading complex, open-ended programs across multiple internal and external stakeholders — with a track record of mobilizing cross-functional resources (Product, Engineering, Measurement, Creative) to unlock solutions for clients. * Ability to influence product direction, with experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams to represent client needs and shape platform capabilities. * Deep platform and product knowledge across digital advertising, including Search, Shopping, Display, and/or Social; familiarity with Pinterest Ads Manager or comparable platforms (e.g., Meta, Google) is highly desirable. * Experience with Greater China export advertisers — understanding of the unique market dynamics, business priorities, and go-to-market strategies of GCR-based brands expanding globally is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into strategic workflows, leveraging AI-driven insights to inform client recommendations, identify growth opportunities, and stay ahead of evolving market trends. * Fluency in business Mandarin and English is required. * Willingness and ability to travel for business as needed. * Bachelor's degree required.   Relocation Statement: * This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. As a Senior Agency Partner, you will be a key driver of Pinterest’s ecosystem growth by managing and expanding our network of sales and reseller partners. You will own strategic relationships with partners, expand their service scope with Pinterest, and accelerate revenue through effective partner enablement. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and frequent engagement with partners to ensure alignment, performance, and long-term success. What you’ll do: * Develop and execute channel commercial strategies to expand partner service offerings and unlock new revenue streams. * Build and deepen strategic relationships with flagship partners in the Greater China region, proactively identifying opportunities to grow accounts and strengthen partnerships. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch joint marketing, education, and sales initiatives with partners. * Lead regular business reviews with partners to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align on growth plans; monitor and analyze sales metrics to inform strategy. * Manage and coach a team of vendor account managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to drive impact. * Stay on top of industry trends, platform developments, and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities. * Build a deep understanding of partners’ business goals, turning data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations. * Track, analyze, and report on key partner performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and growth. * Develop and execute scalable channel sales strategies to deliver on revenue targets. * Provide partners with the tools, training, and resources needed to effectively position Pinterest’s value proposition and full product suite. * Drive scalable enablement and education programs through partners to increase product adoption and advertiser success. * Represent Pinterest at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build relationships with prospective partners and customers. * Collaborate with internal technical and non-technical teams (e.g., marketing, product, legal, finance, sales operations, policy) to ensure smooth execution of sales programs and partner deals. * Drive growth with AI insights by leveraging AI-powered analytics to identify strategic opportunities, forecast trends, and guide partners toward data-backed growth strategies on Pinterest.   What we’re looking for: * 7+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, business development, or channel sales management. * Proven experience working with Greater China export advertisers and/or agencies (required). * Minimum 3 years of experience in reseller, agency, or vendor management, preferably in digital marketing. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and maintain high-impact channel partnerships. * Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable using data and analytics to make decisions and prioritize initiatives. * Solid technical foundation and familiarity with Search, Shopping, Display, and/or Social advertising technologies. * Fluency in business Mandarin and English is required for business purpose. * Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. * Expertise in AI-driven analytics, with the ability to use AI-powered platforms to uncover strategic insights, identify growth opportunities, and inform client strategies. * Bachelor’s degree is required.   Relocation Statement: * This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
