You have excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skills as a DevOps & Release Lead. You can demonstrate previous
experience in Release Management, DevOps or similar technical leadership roles.
An essential part of your role is to own and continuously improve the software delivery lifecycle. While initially focusing on
release coordination and operational excellence, you will progressively drive automation, standardization and engineering
improvements to build a scalable and predictable release process.
You have an excellent understanding of the SDLC principles, and you speak "the same language" with our software engineers. Your
ability to establish release progress reports and communicate them to various business stakeholders is crucial to the success of
the mission. You have an analytical and data-driven mindset where reporting on clear established data points is what you consider

You are accountable for successful software releases by proactively removing impediments while continuously improving delivery

OPPORTUNITY As a Technical Writer Lead, you will author technical documentation for administrators, operators, and business consultants, that represent the different user personas of the core INSIS product and its accompanying software modules. In this position, you will be part of the Product Development team, collaborating with Product Management, DevOps, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to gather information and produce high-quality content that meets the needs of our customers and partners. The deliverables include release notes, conceptual articles, follow-along procedures, documentation for APIs and web services, video tutorials. The Storage team is a team of three engineers. The Platform Engineering Department is a close-knit team of highly skilled individuals comprising Windows, Linux, DBA, and network support. We strive for perfection in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. While providing a high performance, scalable infrastructure to an agile organisation. We are in the process of transforming our Storage Infrastructure to be more automated, agile, and user driven. We use DevOps principles, scripting, infrastructure as code, open source and cloud technologies combined with Enterprise storage products from vendors such as Pure Storage, Rubrik and VAST to achieve these goals. Technologies used at Man Group include: Pure Flash Array, and Flash Blade, VAST, DELL PowerStore, Rubrik Data Platform, NetApp Hybrid & All-Flash, MS Azure Cloud Storage, iSCSI transport protocol, Prometheus and Grafana, Python, PowerShell, Git, & Service-Now.
