The Candela P-12 is our latest innovation - the world’s first electric hydrofoil ferry is not just operating in Stockholm, but now attracting orders from around the world. Our boats “fly” thanks to computer-guided underwater wings under the hull made out of lightweight carbon fiber. The wings lift the vessel above the water, which results in cutting energy use by up to 80%, while offering zero emissions and a far better passenger experience than traditional diesel vessels. We are looking for a Boat Builder to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Your core responsibilities will include: * Working hands-on with boat assembly, including installation of mechanical and electrical components, mounting hardware, and final outfitting * Assembling systems such as interiors, deck equipment, and structural components according to drawings and instructions * Performing adjustments and ensuring proper fit and alignment of assembled parts * Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during assembly operations * Inspecting assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications * Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work environment * Documenting work according to company procedures * Following safety rules and using provided personal protective equipment (PPE) * Working in an international environment – our corporate language is English (including production) What are we looking for? You are a practical and detail-oriented person who enjoys working hands-on and building high-quality products. You have experience using tools and assembling mechanical or technical components. You thrive in a production environment with a fast pace and high standards, and you take pride in delivering quality work. You are eager to learn, adaptable, and enjoy being part of a collaborative and diverse team. You are also comfortable working in a workshop environment and using PPE as required. Requirements: * Ability to communicate in English in your daily work * Experience working safely with hand tools and power tools * Ability to read and work according to technical drawings and instructions * Attention to detail and strong focus on quality * Good physical condition and ability to work hands-on, including standing for extended periods and working in tight spaces * Willingness to work in a production environment and follow safety procedures Meritorious (nice to have): * Experience from assembly work in production or workshop environments * Experience from the marine or automotive industry * Experience with installation of mechanical or electrical systems Form of employment: Full-time with initial 6 month probation period Start date: ASAP Location/base: Rotebro Team: Hull Assembly Reporting to: Hull Assembly Production Area Manager Why people love working at Candela? HR Boat Sweden växer och behöver din hjälp. Vi har en 50 årig historia av att producera riktigt bra fritidsbåtar. Efter att par turbulenta år till följd av branden 2024 har vi nu flyttat in i en helt nybyggd fabrik. I samband med detta har vi tagit fram 6 helt nya båtmodeller som tagit marknaden med storm. Detta betyder att vi måste rekrytera fler goa båtbyggare som passar in i gänget här i Laxå. Vi är idag ca 20st båtbyggare. Vi söker ett gäng glada båtbyggare till våra två avdelningar, plastavdelningen och monteringen. Till plastavdelningen söker vi en laminerare som ska ingå i ett team som tar fram plastprodukterna som sedan monteras ihop till båtar. Plastprodukterna är gjorda i glasfiber och polyester. Har du jobbat med liknande så är det mycket meriterande. Med en ökad produktion så söker vi även tre montörer. Erfarenhet krävs av liknande arbetsuppgifter. Händig och klurig hantverkare är en bra beskrivning av våra montörer. Varje montör är ansvarig för sin båt och sätter sin stämpel på arbetet vilket lyfter yrkesstolthet och kvalitet. En av dessa montörer blir ansvarig för CNC fräsning, erfarenhet av CNC fräsning är mycket meriterande. Rekryteringen kommer att ske under sommaren med mål om att börja arbeta hos oss i slutet av augusti. Kliar det i fingrarna, knopa då ihop en ansökan och skicka in den.
