An exciting opportunity has arisen as Naval Architect in our Propulsion and Handling division at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of Sales Support team in Thruster Systems business, delivering support to our external and internal customers worldwide during sales projects. We are looking for someone who is proactive, structured, self-driven and collaborative. In this role you will join a committed, knowledgeable, and positive team that supports each other. Key accountabilities Evaluate and propose suitable thruster solutions to meet customer requirements Provide technical support to Sales and Sales Support, including evaluations and clarifications Perform hydrodynamic calculations such as speed prediction and bollard pull analysis Participate in customer meetings to support Sales Managers as needed Contribute to R&D initiatives and continuous product development Collaborate with the Kongsberg Maritime Hydrodynamics Research Centre Qualifications and experience BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture (or equivalent) Knowledge of propulsion systems/products is considered an advantage Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Willingness to travel as needed You are A clear and structured communicator with a customer-oriented mindset Pragmatic, self-driven and solution-oriented, able to make things happen and accept responsibility for the results A team player who collaborates effectively, shares knowledge, and supports colleagues in achieving common goals Open-minded, with a global perspective and an interest in working across different cultures and ways of operating What we can offer you With us, you will be offered a competitive salary, good benefit package, flexible work hours, and good development opportunities in an international environment.
