What we are looking for
Familiarity with subscription/SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, cohort analysis)
Experience working with billing and payment data (Stripe, Chargebee, or similar)
Expertise with SQL, dbt, SQLMesh or similar tools (data modeling, testing, macros, docs)
Understanding of dimensional modeling, data contracts, and metrics/semantical layers.
Hands-on experience with data transformation tools (SQLMesh, dbt, or similar)
Experience with data warehousing concepts, cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Hex, Metabase, etc)
Attention to detail and understanding of why accuracy matters for financial data
What you will do
Build and maintain dimensional models (SQLMesh) for revenue recognition, subscription metrics, and financial reporting
Create foundational tables for MRR/ARR, churn, expansion, contraction, and cohort-based revenue analysis
Manage ingestion pipelines for financial data sources (Stripe, billing systems, payment processors)
Reconcile data across systems to ensure accuracy between source of truth and reporting layers
Define and document business logic for financial metrics (recognized revenue, deferred revenue, bookings)
Monitor data quality and implement validation checks for financial data integrity
Partner with Finance to translate reporting requirements into reliable, well-structured data models

This is a foundational role where you will analyse, validate and visualise ESG data to support reliable reporting and follow‑up. The role sits within the ESG Controlling Team, which is part of Group Finance, but works closely with data engineering and architecture roles. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work close to sustainability and data, take ownership of data quality and analysis, and turn ESG data into clear, trusted reports and dashboards in a purpose‑driven domain. Your role As an ESG Data Analyst, you will: Analyse, validate and interpret ESG and sustainability data for reporting and performance follow up. Develop and maintain ESG reports, dashboards and visualisations, e.g. in Power BI. Ensure traceability and consistency between source data, calculations and reported figures. Design and apply data driven and automatised internal controls to detect anomalies, inconsistencies and reporting risks in ESG data. Identify data quality issues, gaps and inconsistencies, analyse root causes, and drive resolution and problem‑solving together with data and ESG colleagues. Develop and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. Continuously improve ESG reporting, analysis, dashboards and controls in line with evolving requirements and stakeholder needs. Support manual ESG reporting and ad-hoc customer reporting for key customers. Your Team You will be part of the ESG Controlling Team, responsible for internal, external and customer ESG data reporting for PostNord. The team is part of Record to Report within Group Finance, and the role reports to Monica Erichsen, Head of Record to Report. You will also work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics or a similar field. Several years of experience working with big data in roles such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar. Experience working with large and complex datasets, preferably in data lake–based environments. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI and SQL; Python is a plus. Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure, validate, and analyse large and complex data sets. Experience with data quality checks, internal controls and handling of data uncertainties. Comfortable working in complex and evolving data and regulatory environments, with a pragmatic and structured approach. Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross‑functionally. Fluency in English with strong communication skills; a Nordic language is a plus but not a requirement. Experience working within the sustainability or logistics field is an advantage, but not a requirement.
