Now, we’re embarking on one of our biggest journeys yet: expanding Avanza into Denmark.
Parallel to this expansion, we’re pushing forward with an ambitious cloud transformation to Google Cloud Platform and establishing
an "AI-first" engineering culture. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we integrate AI into our everyday workflow, working in
autonomous, low-prestige teams that innovate fast and celebrate together.

Your Role With Us
As a Full Stack Software Engineer in our Denmark expansion team, you’ll own the entire journey, taking features from initial
design sketches to smooth, stable production code. You’ll be foundational in our 2030 European expansion, helping to build an
architecture that isn't just for Denmark, but designed to scale across multiple future markets. You will be based in Stockholm.
Your focus will be:
- Build for Scale & Modularity: Build scalable web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and Java microservices, with an eye
for modularity and reusability.
- Shape Our AI-First Workflow: Move beyond standard development by actively integrating AI tools into daily coding, pairing, and
system design, including AI-driven testing and automated documentation generation.
- Collaborate to Innovate: Practice pair and mob programming, code reviews, and continuous learning to keep quality high and
knowledge shared.
- Work Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product Managers and UX designers to craft frictionless user experiences, while
navigating the complexities of multi-market requirements.

Who You Are
You’re a self-driven, curious engineer who loves solving complex problems in a team environment. You bring zero ego, take
initiative, and believe that psychological safety, where asking questions and learning from mistakes is welcomed, is key to great
engineering.
Whether you're already using AI tools daily or simply eager to dive in and learn, you’ll find plenty of room to grow here.
We believe you have:
Solid experience in professional software engineering.
Solid hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular & TypeScript) and backend development (Java/Spring Boot).
Experience with or strong interest in building Web Apps (PWAs) alongside standard web platforms.
A genuine curiosity for AI-assisted development tools and modern workflows.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
A track record of writing clean, testable, and maintainable code in production environments.
Bonus points if you have:
Working knowledge or fluency in Swedish (plus, but not required).
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with complex domains (e.g., Fintech, banking, or investment/savings platforms).
A passion for UX design and data-driven product design.
