Clavister is looking for an IAM Security Engineer to join their Customer Success team and help customers and partners successfully implement and operate their identity and access management solutions.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, architecture, and customer collaboration. You will guide customers through implementations, troubleshoot complex environments, and help design secure identity solutions that protect digital identities and enable modern access management.
You will play a key role in ensuring that customers gain long-term value from Clavister's IAM solutions while strengthening their partnerships and contributing to the growth of the business.
About the Role
As an IAM Security Engineer, you will work closely with Clavister's customers and partners to design, implement, and optimize IAM solutions including identity lifecycle management, provisioning, authentication, and federation in complex environments. The role combines technical architecture, consulting, and problem-solving, and requires strong collaboration across teams.
You will also contribute to continuous improvements in how Clavister delivers services and supports their customers and partners.
Leading and driving customer and partner projects related to Clavister's IAM solutions
Supporting implementations, troubleshooting complex technical scenarios, and guiding architectural decisions
Managing several projects, customers, and partners in parallel
Performing health checks, assessments, and analysis of customer environments
Understanding customer needs and recommending improvements to their IAM setup
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and partners
Contributing to proof-of-concepts and best practices for Clavister IAM implementations
Supporting product management through feedback, bug reporting, and roadmap insights
Collaborating with internal teams including technical pre-sales, support, and product development
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will help ensure that customers successfully deploy and operate Clavister's IAM solutions. You will contribute to strong customer relationships, successful implementations, and continued business growth with their partners.
You will also play an important role in strengthening the Customer Success organization by sharing knowledge, driving improvements, and helping shape best practices across the team.
Your Background
We believe you have experience working with identity and access management solutions, either as a solution architect, consultant, or senior technical specialist in customer-facing environments.
You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy working with complex technical systems while collaborating closely with customers and colleagues.
Identity lifecycle management, provisioning, identity governance, and access management
Identity providers and authentication platforms such as Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, or similar, including integrations with electronic identities (eIDs) such as BankID, Freja eID or SITHS eID
Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation technologies such as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, WS-Federation, or Kerberos
Directory services and identity stores such as LDAP, ADLDS, OpenLDAP or Active Directory
REST-based integrations and APIs
Databases and data management, including SQL
Scripting or development languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, XML, or HTML
Windows and Linux environments
Containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
A collaborative team player who can also work independently
Structured and organized with strong communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Curious and motivated to stay up to date within the IAM and cybersecurity landscape
