Let us tell you about the role 📖 As a Junior Data Engineer, you’ll be a part of our central data team and collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to build and improve our data platform. You’ll play an important role in building the data foundations behind modern AI products and intelligent agents while exploring how AI systems interact with and make use of data in real-world applications. In this role, you’ll also Support data ingestion and pipeline maintenance using tools such as Airbyte and Dataform Write and maintain basic SQL transformations, data models, and data quality checks Help structure and document data models, metrics, and business definitions Support the development of the semantic layer in Omni Investigate data issues and help ensure data is accurate, reliable, and easy to use Your story so far 👀 We are looking for someone who is structured and takes ownership of their work. We believe you are self-driven, communicative and comfortable collaborating with both technical teams and stakeholders. You value quality, enjoy learning and understand the importance of strong foundations when building scalable and reliable data solutions. Furthermore, we believe you have: A degree or recently completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field Some knowledge of SQL Basic programming experience, preferably in Python An interest in databases, data modeling, analytics, and modern data platforms Curiosity about semantic layers, metrics, information modeling, and AI-driven data solutions You might have experience with some of the following areas, but don’t worry if you don’t, we’re more interested in your overall potential and willingness to learn. You’ll work across cloud infrastructure, data, networking, and observability to ensure our systems remain secure, scalable, and resilient as we continue to grow. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers across product, backend, and data to design solutions that support high availability and low latency.
