Moleculent is on an exciting mission to map cell communication at the molecular level in tissue, aiming to unlock radical new insights into human biology. As a Lab Technician, Applications and Fee-for-Service at Moleculent, you will play an important role in supporting customer projects and internal application development studies. Working primarily in the laboratory, you will be responsible for sample handling, assay execution, quality control, and laboratory operations to ensure reliable, reproducible, high-quality data. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility for independently managing Fee-for-service project workflows and supporting the scale-up of our service operations.
Prepare for experiments by organizing workspaces, confirming sample lists, and ensuring required consumables and equipment are available.
Receive, handle, track, label, and store FFPE tissue samples according to established SOPs.
Perform experimental workflows using prepared assay kits and standardized protocols.
Execute tissue staining and multiplex in situ assay workflows under established procedures.
Perform assay quality control checks and review imaging results for completeness and consistency.
Accurately document experimental procedures, reagents, conditions, and results to ensure full traceability.
Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to workflow optimization together with Applications and R&D teams.
Maintain laboratory readiness through equipment upkeep, reagent inventory management, and general lab organization.
Contribute to the expansion and standardization of Fee-for-Service operations .
To fit the role, you hold a BSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related life sciences field. Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
You have experience working in a molecular biology, histology, or related laboratory environment. Experience with FFPE sample handling, immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), or similar workflows is highly valuable. You are comfortable working according to structured SOPs and understand the importance of quality documentation and reproducible laboratory processes.
Hands-on experience with tissue preparation, staining, microscopy, and reagent preparation.
Familiarity with laboratory imaging systems and basic image data handling.
Experience with quality control procedures and experimental documentation.
Knowledge of laboratory organization, equipment maintenance, and chemical safety practices.
Ability to follow version-controlled protocols and standardized workflows.

In this role, you will work close to both hardware and testing, taking ownership of EMC-related lab activities. You will be involved in designing test setups, developing test methods, executing tests, and supporting engineering teams with technical expertise. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working practically in a lab environment while also contributing to structured, standards-driven development work. We are seeking an IT & Software Engineer to join our team with a 50/50 split in maintaining our IT infrastructure and developing the software that powers our smart lab and data pipelines. The position Production processes at IRnova include test measurements and characterization of the products - large imaging arrays and integrated modules. Characterization processes employ a great deal of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, such as technical physics, automation and electronic equipment, applied and system programming and mechanical design. Your mission will be owning the acceptance test procedure (ATP) which will include; · Coordinating the measurements on daily and hourly basis dependent on the current needs and availabilities including all logistics · Establishing and enforcing quality procedures for the ATP processes and equipment, incuding necessary documentation, tests and calibrations · Providing support to the production team for the ATP measurements including the methodology, hardware, software, logistics · Performing the ATP measurements when necessary · Owning and performing certain process steps · Participating, together with other Optronics and Development engineers, in the development of the characterization methods and infrastructure The position implies a substantial amount of practical work in the lab.
