About the Role
Vertiv is hiring a Project Manager – Sweden/Nordics Travel to join our growing Northern Europe team. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of projects across the Nordics, managing a wide range of customer installations: from smaller upgrades to large-scale data centre builds.
You’ll oversee the successful execution of projects in AC Power, Thermal, and Infrastructure Solutions (including some Switchgear and Busbar work). This is a hands-on project management role, ideal for someone with a strong electrical background and a passion for technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate project delivery across key customer sites in Nordics.
Manage planning, installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing activities.
Act as Vertiv’s on-site representative for customers and contractors.
Ensure all works meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Provide daily progress updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Build strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities for improvement or added value.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You should have:
A qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (degree or equivalent).
5+ years’ experience managing technical or construction projects, ideally within critical infrastructure or data centres.
Strong electrical knowledge and experience with AC Power and Thermal systems.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) across the Nordic region.
A valid driving licence and fluent English language skills (Nordic languages an advantage).

Job Description Rambøll is establishing a new global department, Project Management & Delivery (PMD), to lead the delivery of our largest and most complex infrastructure projects worldwide. Uppdraget innebär ett nära samarbete med kunden vilket ställer stora krav på flexibilitet och samarbetsförmåga. Uppdraget Vi söker en Byggledare Mark och Byggnadsverk till Trafikverkets projekt Luleå C inom Norrbotniabanan. Projektet omfattar ombyggnad och modernisering av Luleå Centralstation, där det befintliga signalställverket ska ersättas och bangården genomgå omfattande ny- och reinvesteringsåtgärder. Det nya signalställverket planeras tas i drift under 2028, samtidigt som stationens tillgänglighet förbättras. Bygghandlingsprojektering pågår och utförandeentreprenaden Mark/BEST planeras att starta hösten 2026. Uppdraget innebär att arbeta som Byggledare Mark och Byggnadsverk i Trafikverkets projektorganisation och vara ett stöd till projektledaren. Du ansvarar för byggplatsuppföljning, leder och samordnar byggledningen samt säkerställer att entreprenaden genomförs enligt kontrakt, tid, kvalitet, arbetsmiljö och övriga krav. Area Manager As Area Manager, you will report directly to the Project Director, and you will assume responsibility to execute the area scope from execution to hand over to operation. Your main responsibilities include to deliver the project safely, on time and budget by driving key contracts and coordinating resources across the internal team as well as with our partners. You will report status and escalations of the project directly into the management team and other stakeholders (such as Board) as necessary.In addition to delivering the Boden project, you will develop Stegra’s ability to execute projects in a way that competes on a global scale. You will be seen as an expert in project delivery within your area and will develop your cross-functional team accordingly. You work in a matrix structure in close cooperation with Site Execution, Project Control and Engineering to optimize delivery. The role is based in Boden, Sweden, with regular travel to various project, contractor, and fabrication sites as required.
