WHAT YOU’LL DO * Designing, deploying and operating cloud infrastructure and services on GCP to support scalable and reliable systems. * Building, optimizing and scaling backend systems with a cloud-first mindset, using Node.js and SQL (Postgres). * Contributing to system architecture to ensure cloud scalability, reliability and maintainability of financial systems. * Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape both product direction and business strategy. * Sharing cloud and infrastructure expertise with the team while promoting best practices. Our main stack is TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native running on Google Cloud Platform. HOW WE THINK ABOUT BUILDING We’re pragmatic. YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU… * Have solid experience building backend systems with cloud-first practices and working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. * Care about craftsmanship, performance and reliability in the systems you build. * Take responsibility naturally and don’t wait to be told what to do. * Enjoy messy problems and figuring things out as you go. * Like being in an ambitious and collaborative team. * Want to build, not just maintain. You’re comfortable with things like: * Strong background in cloud infrastructure and backend development with Node.js and SQL databases (preferably Postgres). * Experience in designing, deploying and monitoring solutions on major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. * At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in high-stakes environments like finance. * Passionate about solving complex backend and cloud problems with clean, pragmatic solutions. * Solid understanding of system design and architecture. * Bonus if you’ve worked with React, Python, Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, or DevOps with Github Actions.
