Senior Test Automation Engineer

Vi söker nu en Senior Fullstack Test Engineer till ett uppdrag där du får bidra till att vidareutveckla testarbete, automatisering och kvalitet i digitala tjänster. I rollen arbetar du nära utvecklare, business analysts, testare och andra intressenter för att säkerställa hög kvalitet, stabila leveranser och effektiva testprocesser. Du kommer både att vidareutveckla befintliga automatiserade tester och identifiera nya områden där testautomation kan skapa värde. Om rollen Som Senior Fullstack Test Engineer kommer du att ha en bred och teknisk testroll med fokus på UI-, API- och backendtestning. Du arbetar med att analysera krav, bryta ner dem till testfall, säkerställa acceptanskriterier och driva kvalitet i utvecklingsarbetet. Du kommer även att arbeta med felsökning och analys, exempelvis genom loggar, integrationer och browser DevTools, samt bidra till förbättrad monitorering av befintliga tjänster. Exempel på arbetsuppgifter Analysera krav och ta fram testfall för nyutveckling Säkerställa valideringskrav och acceptanskriterier tillsammans med BA och utvecklare Utveckla, underhålla och förbättra automatiserade testsviter Identifiera nya områden för testautomation Automatisera tester inom UI, API och backend Genomföra manuell och explorativ testning vid behov Köra automatiserade testsviter och analysera resultat Rapportera, analysera och följa upp defekter i icke-produktionsmiljöer Undersöka fel i systemtester, drift och incidenter Arbeta med testdata i flera miljöer Bidra till CI/CD och förbättrade deploy- och releaseprocesser Stötta och kompetensutveckla andra testare inom automation, API och backend Vi söker dig som har Minst 5 års erfarenhet som testare och/eller testledare Stark teknisk bakgrund inom testautomation Erfarenhet av att automatisera testfall för UI, API och backend Erfarenhet av API-testning med exempelvis Postman eller Insomnia Kunskap om mikrotjänster och olika API-typer såsom REST, GraphQL och WebSocket Erfarenhet av testautomationsverktyg såsom Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework eller liknande God förståelse för Software Test Life Cycle Erfarenhet av test management-verktyg Erfarenhet av digitala tjänster Mycket goda kunskaper i engelska Det är meriterande om du har Erfarenhet av DevOps och CI/CD-pipelines God förståelse för agila principer Grundläggande kunskaper inom HTML, CSS och JavaScript Erfarenhet av Cypress och/eller Robot Framework Erfarenhet av test och automation kopplat till kartbaserade verktyg Erfarenhet av AI-verktyg såsom Copilot, AWS Kiro eller liknande Svenska språkkunskaper Som person Vi tror att du är analytisk, strukturerad och kommunikativ. WHAT WE DO AT BLYKALLA Blykalla is a Swedish deep-tech company at the forefront of the nuclear industry, pioneering the development of small modular reactors that provide clean, safe, and reliable energy. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer with deep expertise in ABB 800xA DCS to lead the development of Blykalla's plant control system architecture and implementation strategy. This is a unique opportunity to help define the control philosophy of a first-of-a-kind advanced nuclear reactor. You will play a key role in ensuring that Blykalla develops and retains ownership of critical control system intellectual property while working closely with ABB and other suppliers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DCS Architecture & Ownership * Lead the design and development of Blykalla's plant-wide automation and control system architecture. * Define the ABB 800xA system architecture for reactor, balance-of-plant, auxiliary, and test facility applications. * Develop internal engineering standards, libraries, templates, and control strategies to maximize in-house ownership of intellectual property. * Establish long-term governance for control system design, lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and configuration control. Control System Engineering * Develop functional specifications, control narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, and automation philosophies. * Design and implement control logic, sequences, interlocks, alarms, and operator interfaces. * Configure ABB 800xA applications, controllers, engineering environments, and HMI systems. * Define communication architectures including OPC UA, IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and other industrial protocols. * Develop and maintain simulation and testing environments for control system validation. Nuclear Plant Integration * Support the integration of reactor systems, safety systems, and balance-of-plant equipment into the overall control architecture. * Work closely with reactor, thermal-hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and safety engineers to define system requirements. * Contribute to licensing and regulatory documentation related to instrumentation and control systems. * Support development of digital I&C architectures aligned with nuclear industry expectations and international standards. Vendor & Stakeholder Management * Act as the primary technical interface with ABB regarding 800xA architecture, licensing, engineering tools, and implementation support. * Ensure that Blykalla retains ownership of application software, engineering databases, configuration standards, and control strategies. * Manage external engineering partners and system integrators where required. * Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, and startup activities. Verification & Validation * Develop testing methodologies for control logic verification and system validation. * Lead integration testing and commissioning activities. * Support development of digital twins and operator training simulators. * Ensure traceability from requirements through implementation and testing. There are however a few things that we think will help in order for you to succeed in this role, these are: * MSc or BSc in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline. * Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering. * Extensive hands-on experience with ABB 800xA DCS engineering, configuration, commissioning, and lifecycle management. * Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale DCS architectures. * Experience developing control strategies for complex industrial facilities. * Strong understanding of industrial networks, field instrumentation, and process control. * Fluent in English, spoken and written * Fluency in Swedish is a plus Technical Skills * Expert-level knowledge of ABB 800xA: * AC 800M controllers * Control Builder * Aspect Objects * System 800xA Engineering * Operator Workplace * Alarm Management * Batch and Advanced Process Control (desirable) * Strong understanding of: * ISA-88 * ISA-95 * IEC 61511 * IEC 61508 * Industrial cybersecurity principles * Configuration management and software lifecycle practices * Experience with simulation and testing environments.
