Volumental is the footwear industry’s leading FitTech™ company, using 3D scanning and machine learning to match people with shoes that truly fit. Our vision is “a world without sizes, where every body fits.” We work with brands such as New Balance, Red Wing, Fleet Feet, and Vivobarefoot across 3,000+ stores in 60 countries, with 60M+ foot scans collected, one of the world’s largest datasets of its kind. We’ve always been an AI company at our core. Today, that extends beyond the product into how we build, operating in an AI-native, discovery-driven way to move faster from insight to working solutions. About the role: Volumental’s in-store product is where our technology meets the real world, on the retail floor, in front of real shoppers. The Experience team is responsible for the full interaction: how clerks guide shoppers, how shoppers scan themselves, and how fit recommendations are delivered in seconds. This is where our machine learning and data need to come together--fast, reliably, and in a way people trust. As Senior Product Manager (AI Builder), you’ll own a key part of this experience. You’ll work directly with stores, observe real behavior, and continuously improve how scanning, guidance, and recommendations come together in a live retail environment. You’ll operate in an AI-native way, moving quickly from insight to prototype to decision, while ensuring the intelligence behind the product translates into a simple, intuitive experience for users. What will you do : Lead in-store discovery with shoppers and retail staff to understand real behavior. Take end-to-end responsibility for the experience across clerk-led and self-service flows. Improve speed, clarity, and trust in the scanning and recommendation experience. Prototype collaboratively and iteratively using AI tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude, v0.dev) to explore, validate, and refine ideas before committing engineering resources. Translate complex fit data and machine learning outputs into intuitive user experiences. Work closely with the commercial team and retail partners to ensure real-world impact. Contribute to and thoughtfully shape product strategy with an evidence-informed perspective. Navigate trade-offs thoughtfully, balancing usability, performance, and scalability. Identify friction points and opportunities across the in-store journey. Communicate openly on plans, progress, and decisions. Travel up to 4 times per year as needed. We're excited about you because you are: Passionate about the things you care about and love to make things better. Able to frame problems and opportunities in ways that inspire new ideas and novel approaches to solving them. Autonomous, able to make decisions and move without waiting for permission. Curious, adaptable, and data-driven. Collaborative and a kind team member who fosters collaboration. Open to teaching others and learning new things. We want you to: Have 5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent product-building roles, operating in complex stakeholder or enterprise environments. Have cultivated a strong product sense for interaction design, usability, and human behavior. Be comfortable working directly with customers in physical environments. Build trusted relationships across commercial and retail partners. Actively use AI tools to prototype, test, and iterate on solutions. Have strong discovery instincts, able to listen carefully and surface insights from real-world behavior. Be able to balance speed with reliability in a live retail environment. Be able to make well-reasoned product decisions in ambiguous, real-world situations and see them through. It's a plus if you: Experience working in retail environments or in-store technology Experience working with hardware, sensors, or physical product systems Experience in B2B2C environments (e.g. products involving both business customers and end users) What we can offer you: Personal learning budget and access to coaching Opportunity to work with a great team of 15+ nationalities in our English-speaking office Occupational pension at ITP1 level Flexible Public Holidays Policy Options Program Parental pay top-up Wellness allowance Dog-friendly office Flexible work policy (at least 3 days a week from our Stockholm office) We look forward to hearing from you!
