Providing Value & Impact - SwedQ. SwedQ is a consultancy company that has lately proven to have a unique model for those who want to grow, create a legacy, and take on challenges that both add and gain value. Year after year, we have managed to serve clients within a wide range of industries (intentionally excluding gambling and weaponry). During this time, we have also grown steadily—in revenue, in team size, and in the impact of our deliveries. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the company in a literal sense. That means taking on the technical challenges as well as getting a portion of the company in the future. If you would like, you can also drive your own ideas forward and implement them with us. You’ll be working closely with everyone here, which makes it easy to bring change and act on what you believe in. What's in it for you? Some people value fixed salaries, pensions, and stability. Others want a bigger share of the pie and are ready to share the risks. Let’s talk that through. One thing is certain—we’ll make sure you find your “it,” whether that’s with us in-house or with our clients. We’ll shape the role to fit both your needs and ours. The good thing? You will be surrounded by people who are technically savvy, giving you plenty of opportunities to teach and learn. And if not technically, then perhaps in entrepreneurship. We know - it’s a lot of questions. That’s why we have interviews, right? Who are you: * At least 5 years experience in Software engineering. * At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing, training, and deploying AI/ML models in production using Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar) * Deep understanding of AI techniques such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and/or generative AI (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models) * Hands-on experience of AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) * Strong experience with MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, and retraining (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Kubeflow) * Proven ability to design robust and scalable inference architectures (batch, real-time, low-latency APIs) * Experience working with large-scale data preparation and feature engineering pipelines for ML systems * Practical experience adapting and productionizing foundation models and LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG architectures) * Strong understanding of model performance, bias, fairness, explainability, and responsible AI principles * Ability to translate complex business problems into end-to-end AI solutions, from proof of concept to production * Solid understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to AI (e.g., GDPR, upcoming AI regulations) * Experience with containerized environments and IaC (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) * Great communication and collaboration skills * Fluent in English and Swedish SwedQ culture SwedQ began with siblings who brought in people they knew. Those people recommended friends, and from there, the company grew further through open head-hunting. Over time, we’ve built a diverse team with different backgrounds, experiences, and insights. We made sure to amplify this diversity by embracing independence and accountability while driving value-creating work. At the same time, we make sure to have fun—with epic football tournaments, unforgettable trips, and great dinners. Perks & Benefits * Competitive salary—you decide your preferred salary model * Budget to spend on health and gym * Generous developer budget * Monthly payments into your additional pension fund * Private health insurance * Private healthcare * Office in the city – a stone’s throw from public transport and lunch restaurants * Breakfast in the SwedQ office EVERYDAY * Support for open-source projects and community engagement * Kick-ass colleagues and mentors at every corner * Company car (or car allowance) * Benefits to make life easier—home cleaning, childcare, and more

BACKGROUND Netnod is a small high-tech firm based in Sweden which provides services at the core of the Internet, such as Internet-exchange services, transmission, DNS-services, and time and frequency services. Netnod is at the forefront of secure and robust services. THESIS DESCRIPTION At Netnod we mainly design security through diversity, that is by composing systems through many different nodes in many different levels so that there is no single point of failure. In terms of security our systems focus on providing availability and integrity, even in extreme scenarios. Several of our services are dependent on anycast routing and peering on nodes across the globe for availability. Announcing and de-announcing nodes is part of our toolkit for management traffic and global availability. What should be the best-practices for ensuring availability of any global service; given events such as DDoS, faulty routing, anycast and peering? This thesis concerns digging into this issue, and if possible, suggest solutions. This thesis concerns both implementation and evaluation of implementations. QUALIFICATIONS This thesis project is aimed at students in computer science and engineering with an interest in networks, routing and peering. EXTENT Preferably two students, 30hp each PRACTICALITIES The students are expected to be partly present at the Netnod main office in Solna, Stockholm. The planned semester is spring of 2026. Netnod will provide an on-site supervisor with relevant academic merits. Netnod provides necessary equipment, reimbursement for travels, and a one time compensation upon completion of the thesis project.
