Du är en nyckelperson i vår säljorganisation i Skövde med omnejd. Du arbetar nära kunder och kollegor för att ta fram tekniska lösningar som skapar tydligt kundvärde. Arbetet är varierat och kombinerar teknisk expertis med rådgivning, utbildning och problemlösning.
Ge teknisk rådgivning kring produkter och bearbetningsmetoder såsom svarvning, fräsning, borrning, gängning samt CAM- och digitala lösningar
Felsöka och lösa tekniska utmaningar i kundernas produktion
Implementera och testa nya produkter och lösningar hos kund
Ta fram och hålla tekniska presentationer samt utbilda kunder och kollegor
Arbeta nära Account Managers för att identifiera och realisera affärsmöjligheter
Placering och arbetssätt
Du utgår från hemmakontor och besöker kunder i regionen Skövde med omnejd.
Du har gedigen erfarenhet inom produktionsteknik och teknisk service och trivs i en roll där du får arbeta självständigt, projektorienterat och nära kund. Vi ser gärna att du har:
Starka kunskaper inom mekanik och skärande bearbetning
Erfarenhet av CAD, CAM, CNC och Office 365
Förmåga att kommunicera och presentera obehindrat på svenska och engelska
Erfarenhet av teknisk försäljning och/eller Lean är meriterande
Din personlighet är minst lika viktig som din tekniska kompetens. Du är nyfiken, strukturerad och tar gärna ägarskap för dina uppdrag. YOUR MISSION Key Responsibilities Enterprise Applications Strategy & Portfolio Management * Define and execute the engineering applications strategy in alignment with Engineering and business priorities * Own the application portfolio roadmap, lifecycle management, and performance monitoring * Lead tool standardization and consolidation initiatives to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency * Manage vendor relationships, software licenses, and cost optimization across the tool portfolio * Identify and implement automation and AI/ML capabilities; incorporate into roadmap and team development Technical Administration & Architecture * Act as technical lead and primary owner of engineering applications; perform hands-on configuration, administration, integration, and complex troubleshooting * Administer and maintain PLM, CAD, and other platforms including server infrastructure, databases, and application layers * Configure workflows, lifecycles, business rules, and integrations to support engineering and manufacturing processes * Manage user accounts, access permissions, roles, and security policies in accordance with data classification and export control requirements * Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal operational disruption Integration & Data Management * Configure and maintain integrations between PLM, CAD and ERP systems for BOM synchronization and data traceability * Support data exchange with manufacturing execution systems and requirements management tools * Develop and maintain automated data migration scripts and system interfaces * Ensure data integrity, proper file structure hierarchies, naming conventions, and change management workflows Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement * Coordinate and mentor a small team; define scope, track progress, and escalate risks * Partner with Engineering, configuration management, and manufacturing to align tools to process needs and manage expectations * Drive tool awareness, training, and adoption across the organization * Serve as a trusted enterprise systems advisor to Engineering and IT leadership * Develop and deliver training materials and ensure effective support in coordination with IT YOUR PROFILE Education * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). Experience * Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise applications, engineering systems, or related technical areas; 2+ years directly supporting engineering environments (PLM, CAD, collaboration tools). * Proven track record of hands-on system administration and integration in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industries. * Experience with tool portfolio management, vendor negotiations, and license optimization. * Proven track record of supporting engineering organizations in product development environments. Technical Skills * Strong background in application architecture, administration, integrations, and development. Proficiency with PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter) and CAD/ALM tools (e.g., NX, Altium, Jira, Polarion). * Experience integrating with ERP, manufacturing tools, and relational databases (e.g. SQL). * Familiar with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell) for automation. * Exposure to cloud platforms, cybersecurity practices, and regulated data environments. * Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics is a plus. Industry Knowledge * Understanding of product development processes in aerospace or regulated industries. * Familiar with engineering change management, configuration management, and BOM structures. Leadership & Communication * Proven ability to operate as a hands-on specialist. Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communicator with both technical and business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and deliver results across cross-functional teams. Position Purpose: The IT Applications Specialist (PMIS) is responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and continuous improvement of assigned applications, focusing on Project Management Information System (PMIS). The role ensures systems are operating effectively, resolves technical and business issues, and supports the delivery of enhancements and upgrades. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, the position contributes to application reliability, user experience, and ongoing optimization of technology solutions. What You Will Do: * Manage application operations, including issue resolution, system maintenance, performance monitoring, and vendor coordination. * Implement application enhancements, upgrades, patches, and fixes to maintain system reliability, security, and data integrity. * Investigate and resolve incidents and escalations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. * Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, and implement application improvements. * Support solution delivery by participating in testing, change management, deployment, and post-implementation activities. * Coordinate with vendors and service providers to implement changes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain agreed service levels. * Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and controls to enable effective application lifecycle management. * Provide user support, training, and guidance while promoting adoption of system functionality and best practices. Who You Are: * University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline an asset. * Several years of experience in application support or systems analysis. * Experience supporting Project Management Information Systems (PMIS). Experience with Kahua PMIS would be an asset * Understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects, including exposure to Engineering, Procurement and Construction business processes (i.e. RFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders and Scheduling) * Knowledge of application lifecycle management and issue resolution practices. * Experience working with vendors and service delivery models. * Familiarity with enterprise systems and platforms. * Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex business environment. * Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. * Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies is an asset. * Strong analytical and communication skills.
