We’re excited to welcome our first Staff Software Engineer to the newly forming Onsite Messaging team at Voyado. Onsite Messaging (OSM) is one of Voyado’s most important customer engagement channels. Instead of communicating through email or SMS, OSM enables retailers to engage customers directly on their websites with personalized experiences based on real-time behavior. Every interaction can be measured, understood and optimized, making OSM a key part of creating seamless customer journeys. We’re now bringing OSM onto Voyado’s Engage platform, and this role will play a central part in making that happen. You’ll join at the beginning of that journey, helping shape both the technical direction and the engineering practices while building a brand-new team in Stockholm together with colleagues in India. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a Staff Engineer role for someone who enjoys leading through technology. You'll act as the technical driver for Onsite Messaging. The frontend is moving into Voyado's Engage platform, while the backend continues to run and evolve on AWS — so you'll own both sides of that seam and make sure it holds together well. The transition is one chapter, not the job description. Although the role comes with significant technical ownership, it remains deeply hands-on. You’ll write code, review code, challenge architectural decisions and help the team make sound engineering choices every day. Initially, much of the focus will be understanding the existing solution, reviewing code and working closely with our engineering team in India as knowledge and ownership gradually move to Stockholm. As the transition progresses, your focus will shift towards driving the technical roadmap, enabling new product development and shaping the future Onsite platform. Onsite Messaging also sits on a shared JavaScript foundation that several Voyado products load on retailer sites. Getting that foundation into good shape — as a platform other teams can build on — is part of this role. WHO YOU ARE We're looking for someone operating at around 8-10 years of engineering experience, who has been the person other engineers turn to on hard system design questions. You don’t need experience from our exact technology stack, but we believe you’ve worked with several of the following: * Modern backend development in C#, .NET (out tech stack), or Comfortable moving between languages; Java, Kotlin, Go or similar * JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience working across both frontend and backend when needed * AWS, and serverless architecture in particular — our backend runs on that. Experience with Azure or GCP equivalents is fine if you're happy to work in AWS * Distributed systems, scalable web applications and high-traffic products * System design, software architecture and large technical migrations * CI/CD, observability, automated testing and engineering best practices We also think you: * have successfully led complex technical initiatives or migration projects * enjoy reviewing code and helping other engineers grow * communicate confidently across teams, cultures and technical disciplines * thrive in environments where not everything has been defined yet * enjoy collaborating with distributed engineering teams * use AI coding tools as a natural part of software development and know how to review and quality-assure AI-generated code HIGH IMPACT. GREAT PEOPLE. REAL GROWTH. You’ll join a company with strong momentum, modern technology, and a collaborative culture where ideas and initiatives are encouraged. At Voyado, we care about creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate, and enjoy the journey together. We move quickly, challenge ideas, and work closely across teams to deliver meaningful impact. Some of our benefits: * 30 days of vacation * Wellness allowance * Personal development opportunities * Summits and team activities * Four days from the office and one day from home ABOUT VOYADO Voyado is the Agentic Customer Experience Suite for retail. More than 500 retail brands across 100 markets use Voyado to unite CRM, loyalty, product discovery, e-commerce personalization, and retail media with retail-trained AI that acts on real-time shopper intent. By combining customer data with product intelligence, Voyado helps retailers deliver more relevant experiences across every channel — online and in-store. The result is more traffic, higher conversions, stronger customer relationships, and measurable business impact. We’re growing across Europe and are looking for people who want to help shape the future of retail technology. READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? Fantastic! 🎉 Applying is easy — submit your LinkedIn profile or upload your resume. We’d love to hear what excites you about this role and what challenges you’re eager to take on. Be yourself, and let your passion shine through. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As part of our recruitment process, we conduct a background check on the final candidate. MAKING IT PERSONAL WITH AI We believe you’ll position yourself best for success in the interview process by being yourself, with support from AI where it makes sense. Later in the process, you may even be expected to use AI. At the end of the day, what matters is meeting you — the person behind the application. There is no such thing as a perfect candidate; we’re all human, so please bring your authentic self. Don’t let AI over-polish your CV or answers to the point where we can’t hear your real voice, because that’s what we care about most. VACATION PERIOD! As we are heading out for the vacation period, feedback on your application might take a little longer than usual. Don't hesitate to send in your application, though; we'll do our best in getting back to you as soon as possible! 🌴

Bryntum’s components are used in applications at thousands of companies worldwide, for scheduling, planning and operations. Those systems depend on infrastructure that is reliable, secure and easy to maintain. That's where you come in. Bryntum's JavaScript components are embedded in business-critical systems at 5,000 companies across 80 countries. Keeping that infrastructure reliable, secure and scalable is the foundation everything else rests on. Bryntum is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who takes that responsibility and wants to help us build for the next phase of growth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the role You'll join a small Platform and Infra team and take on a broad role spanning development, operations and infrastructure. Alongside two colleagues, you'll have access to production servers and the systems that keep Bryntum running. We need someone who is thorough, dependable, and takes pride in doing things properly. The role covers everything from building and maintaining internal tools, customer zone and back-office systems, to driving our cloud journey forward. We need someone who is comfortable moving across the stack and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves on whatever needs attention. Whether that's writing application code, scripting automation or shaping our deployment setup. We're in the middle of a maturity journey: moving towards AWS, consolidating infrastructure and replacing ad hoc solutions with more robust setups. You'll be part of shaping that transition alongside your colleagues, with real ownership over the decisions you make What we're looking for * 8+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer with strong exposure to DevOps, platform or infrastructure work * Comfortable across the stack – from server and database to frontend * Solid experience with AWS, Docker, and cloud infrastructure * Strong scripting and automation skills, Node.js and Bash in particular * Experience with GitHub * Experience managing virtual server environments * A methodical, detail-oriented approach, this is a trust role with access to production Meritorious What matters is that you're not afraid of new technology and can get up to speed quickly. You're the kind of person who spots a problem and fixes it. You find it genuinely satisfying to keep systems clean, stable, and well-organized. What we offer * 6 weeks of vacation * ITP pension and insurance * Wellness allowance * Freedom with responsibility. You own your day as long as the work gets done * Hybrid model with a Stockholm hub at Epicenter * One joint team trip per year where the whole organization comes together Apply Does this sound like a role for you?
