Our Data Science team partners deeply with teams across Stripe to ensure that our users, our products, and our business have the
models, data products, and insights needed to make decisions and grow responsibly. We're looking for data scientists with a
passion for analyzing data, building machine learning and statistical models, and running experiments to drive impact. Our work is
broad and varied, influencing how our products work (e.g., understanding user needs, preventing fraud, or optimizing charge
flows), how our business works (forecasting key outcomes, managing liquidity, and quantifying risk exposure), how our go-to-market
motions operate (designing growth experiments, optimizing marketing investments, refining sales processes, and estimating causal

Data Scientist The Data Science team helps us fulfill our mission by informing strategy, defining success metrics, and identifying new ways to deliver user value. Data scientists are at the crux of deepening our understanding of the customers and driving more business outcomes by leveraging experimentation, causal inference, statistical and machine learning techniques, and data storytelling. As a Data Scientist at Asana, you’ll help us ask the right questions and answer them rigorously. You’ll work closely with our Product and Business teams to understand their goals and proactively inform their direction with data. You’ll keep taking on new responsibilities as you grow—from defining core metrics to building machine learning models and keeping the data flowing in our pipelines This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. What you’ll achieve * Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new product features. * Investigate high-level questions like “What are the collaborative patterns of the most successful teams using Asana?” * Add new metrics and aggregations to our data warehouse to make new classes of questions answerable. * Build models to predict the growth trajectory of different customer segments. * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product management, and business teams to drive data-informed decision-making. About you * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. * 3+ years of experience in applying data science techniques to drive technical product development and decision-making. * Strong technical background in statistics, mathematics, information science, or another heavily quantitative field. * Fluency in at least one modern language useful for data processing (such as Python or Scala). * Proficiency with relational data modeling and SQL. * Expertise in statistical methods and experimental design and analysis. * Experience with measurement techniques for search ranking, relevance, or quality assessments. * Experience with distributed data processing systems (such as Spark or Redshift). * Background in advanced statistical modeling (e.g., GLM, mixed effects) and/or machine learning techniques * Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making. What we’ll offer For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 29,000 PLN - 32,900 PLN (gross monthly). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits. In this role, you will train predictive models and the workflows behind AI-driven applications, Agents, Chatbots that power teams across the company, including go-to-market, engineering, and product. Because the products we build are initiated and owned by the team, you will be involved end-to-end — from shaping requirements and designing systems to implementation, deployment, and long-term ownership. You will focus on building scalable, reliable AI/ML models, services and GenAI powered application backends, partnering closely with data and full-stack engineers to deliver new features and operate the pipelines and platforms behind our products. Our stack spans multiple languages and technologies, including Python, React, and TypeScript, and continues to evolve. Many of our applications also incorporate strong AI components, giving you opportunities to work with modern AI infrastructure and tools such as vector databases, MCP-based services, and Workers AI.
