Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. The Product Okta’s Auth0 is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We make access to applications safe, secure, and seamless for the more than 100 million daily logins around the world. Our modern approach to identity enables this Tier-Ø global service to deliver convenience, privacy, and security so customers can focus on innovation. The Team The Organizations team is expanding Auth0 to help B2B SaaS applications easily manage access for their own customers and partners, at scale. We make it possible for enterprise SaaS users to log in with the right set of permissions within the right context, and for our B2B customers to onboard access for their customers easily. Our work is cross-cutting and always heavily customer driven. We work in NodeJS (JavaScript and TypeScript) and use PostgreSQL for our data needs. Our services run on AWS and Azure and we lean heavily on containers for both our development and production needs. If you have keen eye for good user experiences and enjoy solving hard problems at scale we can’t wait to talk to you. What you’ll be doing * Collaborate with engineers both inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new enterprise functionality for our SaaS customers - both for the login flow itself and for Auth0’s direct and self-service management capabilities * Drive technical improvements to our codebase and architecture * Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on sound engineering practices * Every now and then, help drive improvements to shared stacks of functionality - such as our internal tooling for interactive testing of the product * Work with your team, the Product Manager and Product Designer to define the look, feel and functionality of new features and review customer feedback What you’ll bring to the role * You have previous experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) and creating and maintaining public APIs. * You have worked on full-stack apps in the past - you don’t need to be an expert but a decent portion of our work is on the front-end as well * You like working on systems that are highly-reliable, maintainable and scalable. * You have experience and an eye for good engineering practices and testing, and love to share them. * You work autonomously but know when to seek help from your team members. * You are a good mentor and communicator, and bring the rest of your team along for the journey. * You have experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred). And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! * IAM/OAuth2 experience. * Understanding and experience of DevOps culture. We have infrastructure teams that build interfaces for product teams but we love working with engineers who can reason about the workings under the covers - and roll their sleeves up to write some Terraform, if need be. * Good SQL knowledge and experience - we have some large datasets and need to make sure our schemas and queries are performant * Knowledge of security engineering and application security. #LI-HYBRID #LI-SH1 P13037_3480676 Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. GET TO KNOW THE TEAM The Developer Platform team at Auth0 (an Okta company) owns the surfaces developers use to build with Auth0 - APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and the tooling that shapes how developers experience identity. Software is increasingly built by developers working alongside AI agents, and that shift raises the bar on every interface we ship: APIs have to be consumable by agents, tools have to be discoverable, and our platform has to hold up when an agent - not just a person, is the one calling it. We're looking for an engineer who already builds with those skills. We move fast, we own problems end-to-end, and we care deeply about the developer experience we put in front of people. THE OPPORTUNITY We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build the platform surfaces that developers and AI agents use to configure, extend, and interact with Auth0. You'll work at the intersection of API platform design, developer tooling, and emerging standards like MCP (Model Context Protocol). You'll take on ambiguous, high-leverage problems alongside a group of strong senior and staff engineers, and you'll have real influence over how our platform is built for a world where agents are first-class consumers. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Design and build developer-facing platform surfaces - APIs, MCP tools, CLI integrations, that hold up whether the caller is a developer or an agent * Own technical direction for key platform surfaces that make Auth0 consumable by agents * Drive cross-cutting technical decisions that keep our platform coherent and easy to build on * Operate peer-to-peer with tech leads across teams: own your work, unblock others, and raise the execution bar * Bring developer's empathy to everything you ship - you understand how developers consume APIs and you design accordingly WHAT YOU'LL BRING * 7+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time on platform, SDK, or developer-tooling work * Strong Node.js fundamentals; Go a plus * A track record of designing and shipping APIs or developer-facing surfaces at scale * Comfort owning ambiguous problems without heavy top-down scoping * Hands-on familiarity with agentic tooling, MCP, or LLM-facing API design - a meaningful differentiator for this role * Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and architecture in a fast-moving environment * A bias for execution - you ship, you learn fast, and you make the people around you better EXTRA CREDIT * Experience with identity, authorization, or IAM platforms * Work with agent frameworks, AI-facing APIs, or developer toolchains in the LLM space * Background at a company where developers are the primary customer P-1064 #LI-Hybrid Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. We’re growing with purpose and looking for people who want to build something meaningful with lasting impact. With the recent acquisition by Strava accelerating our journey, now is a really magical time to join. 🚀 THE TEAM YOU’LL JOIN We’re looking for a full stack engineer to join our Growth team, with a strong focus on marketing technology. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, data and marketing – building and maintaining the systems that power our acquisition, activation and retention efforts across channels. Although Marketing Technology is a core part of this role, you’ll also spend a significant portion of your time working across full‑stack initiatives in our Growth Product Squad – building features, launching experiments, and iterating based on results. You’ll join our cross-functional Growth squad, working closely with product, marketing and data. The team is responsible for: * Improving how new users discover, try and subscribe to Runna. * Running experiments across the funnel, from ad click through to in‑app activation and ongoing engagement. * Owning the core tools and integrations that power our marketing and lifecycle communications. HOW WE WORK * Cross‑functional, collaborative teams with shared goals. * Iterative development, continuous deployment and a strong focus on testing and observability. * High autonomy, high ownership – you’ll have real responsibility for growth outcomes and the systems that support them. You’ll also collaborate with the wider engineering org to ensure our growth systems are robust, observable and align with our overall architecture and standards. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * Own implementation and maintenance of ad tracking SDKs and MMPs (for example TikTok, Meta, Google, AppsFlyer), including event mapping and monitoring for signal loss. * Build and maintain tracking and tag manager setups across web and app so our data is reliable, privacy‑respectful and useful for models and reporting. * Design, build, test and ship full stack features that support growth (for example landing pages, onboarding flows, referral and promo experiences). * Integrate and maintain CRM and lifecycle tooling (for example Iterable or similar), including catalogues, data feeds, deeplinks and email / in‑app templates. * Build internal tools, automations and scripts (for example in Python or Node) that connect systems, improve workflows and power pLTV, dashboards and alerting. * Collaborate closely with Growth, Marketing and Data to scope experiments and quickly ship A/B tests and campaigns that move key metrics. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM: * Solid experience as a full stack engineer (ideally 3+ years), comfortable working across frontend and backend. * Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and experience with modern frontend frameworks (for example React / React Native). * Hands‑on experience integrating and maintaining marketing technology such as: * Analytics and product analytics tools. * Mobile / web attribution. * Tag managers and event tracking. * CRM or lifecycle platforms (email, push, in‑app messaging). * Comfort working closely with non‑engineering partners (marketing, product, data) and translating business goals into technical solutions. * A bias towards experimentation and iteration – you care about impact and learning fast. * Strong ownership mindset: you’re happy to take a problem from idea to shipped, monitored solution. * Good understanding of event tracking, data quality and debugging issues across multiple platforms and tools. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: * Experience with mobile growth and attribution (for example RevenueCat, app store / play store tooling, mobile attribution providers). * Previous experience in a product‑led or consumer subscription business. * Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing. * Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud provider and modern CI/CD practices. * Experience working in or closely with a Growth / Marketing team.
