ABOUT THE ROLE As a Solutions Engineer, you'll work as part of a driven team to unlock the full potential of our voice AI platform for a growing customer base. Your mission is to efficiently scale our technical solutions to many enterprise customers, both directly and by improving our internal processes and supporting our sales teams. As a Solutions Engineer, you can expect to: * Collaborate strategically with Account Executives to enhance the technical aspects of the sales process. * Work directly with technical contacts from our customers and prospective customers to provide bespoke support and architect solutions. * Craft compelling technical demonstrations that clearly communicate our product's value proposition. * Create technical enablement resources that amplify our sales team's effectiveness and technical fluency. * Build self-service tools and documentation that empower customers to implement solutions independently. * Identify opportunities to productize common integration patterns or features, and work with our product teams to make these real! REQUIREMENTS We're looking for exceptional individuals who excel at working with customers on technical problems and excited to work with us to scale this efficiently. It’s ok if you only worked with customers in student clubs or side projects, as long as you are interested in working closely with them on a technical capacity * Proficiency in Python, inclusive of a deep understanding of software development, software architecture, and common integration patterns. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences. ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring for a Software Engineer on the growth team to focus on our self-serve customers (consumer, prosumer, and self-serve B2B) and product-led growth. You'll operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and marketing. The work will be a mix of novel channel creation and optimization on our channels already at scale. You'll operate across the full range of our metrics — including driving awareness, acquisition, retention, revenue, and referral. While we already have 1+ million users and significant revenue, there is still an incredible amount of low-hanging fruit. Specific responsibilities might include: * Ideate and implement (both frontend and backend) full growth features and experiments to run that have a significant impact on user acquisition, e.g., by driving product virality * Create in-product onboarding to drive activation * Set up a pricing experimentation system and use it to iterate on pricing REQUIREMENTS We do not require any formal experience, certifications, or degrees. Instead, we are seeking enthusiastic software engineers who can showcase solving impressively hard problems with artifacts such as past projects, designs, or GitHub contributions. We work in a focused, remote environment that values small, collaborative teams, clear ownership and the space to do your best work without unnecessary meetings or noise. Your work will contribute to one of our three strategic areas: improving the experience of the clinicians who use our platform, making client operations sustainable as we grow, or giving our partners the confidence to expand their work with us. You’re a full-stack generalist who is growing into ownership. You like to take features end-to-end, you’re comfortable with ambiguity and finding your own answers, and you keep your team informed without being chased. You would rather ship something useful and improve it than wait for the perfect approach. You’ll work closely with engineers, analysts and tech associates to shape, build and ship features that are simple, scalable and useful. Specialisms Some engineers hold a specialism based on team needs, usually around 20% of their time. It is a chance to grow domain knowledge and take on a key responsibility. Options include infrastructure (shared tooling, environments and deployment), data insights, front-end and the design system, or engineering response. Our stack We build primarily in Ruby on Rails, but we hire for the engineer rather than the framework.
