About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our dynamic, remote-based mental health service, delivering care to children and
young people across NHS and insurance-funded pathways.
This role involves providing high-quality clinical supervision to a team of registered psychological therapists from low intensity
professional backgrounds (e.g. EMHPs), CBT therapists and counsellors, working within our evidence-based digital therapy service.
Supervision is delivered online via our secure platform which has digital therapeutic features such as clinical outcome
measurement and online resources.
In addition to clinical supervision, the role includes other clinical tasks, such as triage of The Sandbox referrals, iCBT
treatment management, case and risk management support and group online work within a school setting. There will also be
opportunities to contribute to the development and delivery of the service.

This individual will play a key role in molecular testing workflows that support our mission in reproductive health and genetic diagnostics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled in molecular biology techniques, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and for reviewing and reporting test results, if applicable. * Performs high complexity tests that are authorized by the General Supervisor or Laboratory Director. * Adhere to laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reviewing and maintaining records of patient test results. * Follow all safety and quality control protocols. * Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and immediately notify the General Supervisor or Laboratory Director. * Document all non-conformities and corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications. * Register samples in the designated system, witness the procedure, and ensure proper documentation is in place. * Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and overnight shifts as dictated by operational needs. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure workflow efficiency and continuity. * Maintain a high level of organization and accountability to support safe, accurate, and timely laboratory testing. * Perform additional duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations. Experience and Qualifications: * Bachelor’s, or higher, degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution; OR a bachelor’s, or higher, degree in one of the chemical, or biological sciences from an accredited institution, and, in addition, at least 6 months of acceptable supervised experience and/or relevant training. * Relevant molecular skill set consisting of the molecular fundamentals, RNA and DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis will be plus. * Experience with real time PCR, microarray or sequencing preferred. * Possession of a Florida license for Clinical Laboratory Technologist is preferred. Key knowledge, skills and abilities: * Highly organized and strong work ethic. * Understanding of the equipment used daily, including, but not limited to centrifuges, thermal cyclers, and real-time PCR analyzers. * Understanding of CLIA requirements and experience with CAP inspections for compliance with Checklist requirements. * Demonstrate clear ability to explain experience with specific instrument platforms, including test principle(s), what controls were in place, and how results are interpreted and reported out. * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-past, deadline-driven environment. * Communication - Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write clear reports and detailed laboratory procedures with correct grammar and spelling. The Speech and Language Pathology unit of the Health and Rehabilitation department has the major task of being responsible for a four-year undergraduate Speech and Language Pathology programme. The unit also gives courses on the graduate level and engages in research in the subject of Speech and Language Pathology. The unit consists of about fifteen lecturers and researchers and six doctoral students. All of these are engaged in instruction in the Speech and Language Pathology programme and may serve as supervisors for projects on the graduate and doctoral level. Speech and Language Pathology as a subject area describes and explains various forms of communication difficulties resulting from language, voice, and speech disorders, how they should be evaluated and treated, as well as their effects on an individual's personality, health and quality of life. Teaching and research included in this position are to focus on developmental speech and language disorders, and thereby supplement and reinforce existing resources at the Speech and Language Pathology unit. Duties Work-related duties primarily involve responsibility for teaching on the undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of developmental speech and language disorders. This can be in the form of the degree programme for Speech and Language Pathology, as well as in freestanding courses. In addition, duties include serving as a supervisor on the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in the subject area. The position also includes serving as course coordinator, engaging in course planning, performing administrative tasks and keeping up with developments in the field. The position also involves conducting research in the subject area of the position, as well as seeking research funding from outside sources. Management/leadership responsibilities may be included. Eligibility The eligibility criteria for employing teaching staff are set out in Chapter 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance and in the Appointment Procedure for Teaching Posts at the University of Gothenburg. Eligibility requirements include a doctoral degree, demonstrated pedagogical skills, and a Swedish Speech and Language Pathology licence. Ability to teach in Swedish and English is also a requirement. In the assessment of clinical competence, emphasis is placed on clinical experience within the field of developmental speech and language disorders. Administrative proficiency in education and the ability to collaborate and engage in cooperation with particular emphasis placed on documented experience in the overall planning of courses, clinical placements, examinations, and course evaluations within Speech Pathology programmes. Prior experience in leadership assignments is likewise considered a merit, for example, serving as a member of a council or committee.
