Responsible for physical security operations, investigations, executive protection support, incident response, and threat
management functions across corporate environments and operational facilities. Serve as an operational leader within the broader
Global Security & Investigations organization, responsible for managing day-to-day security operations, sensitive investigations,
workplace violence prevention initiatives, executive protection assignments, and emergency response coordination while supporting
enterprise security strategy and operational resilience.
This role combines investigative expertise, operational leadership, and protective operations experience with strong judgment,
crisis response capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration. The position assists with physical security operations including
incident management, threat assessment, executive protection support, law enforcement coordination, guard force oversight,
emergency preparedness, and operational security initiatives while partnering closely with Legal, HR, Compliance, Risk,
Cybersecurity, Workplace Services, Facilities, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate is operationally mature, highly adaptable, and capable of managing sensitive investigations, responding to

Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world. The role: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Paralegal to play a critical role within our Legal Department. This position will lead SoFi’s Service of Process function, including intake and management of subpoenas and threatened or filed matters. The role will also be responsible for daily management of SoFi’s service of process paralegal team and provide support to SoFi’s in-house counsel in managing responses to subpoenas and other legal correspondence. The role will report to the Associate General Counsel. The ideal candidate has experience working in a paralegal role with a demonstrated track record of supporting law firm and in-house litigation, has a knowledge of legal service of process, criminal and civil subpoena process, and the litigation and arbitration processes, and is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable partnering with attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders on a variety of legal matters. Because this role will manage one or more paralegals in executing the Service of Process function, management experience is strongly preferred. What you’ll do: * Oversee intake, tracking, and administration of all service of process. * Prepare responses and objections to subpoenas and legal correspondence and oversee other paralegals responsible for providing these responses * Maintain accurate and up-to-date service of process-related data in SoFi’s systems of record * Facilitate the gathering of internal discovery; shepherd and complete research requests; conduct internal investigations in response to service of process items; answer questions from outside and in-house counsel with regards to allegations made against SoFi * Assist in the generation of service of process-related reports and help update and maintain SoFi’s policies, procedures, and training materials on responding to service of process requests * Support continuous improvement of efficient workflows, tracking tools, and reporting processes. * Organize and facilitate meetings as necessary (e.g., creating agendas, taking notes and action items, drafting correspondence, and following up to see action items through to completion) * Assist attorneys and paralegals in preparing case or file summaries and obtaining information related to subpoenas or litigation * Assist the paralegal team in maintenance of the legal Service of Process task management system * Supervise and develop paralegals and legal support staff. * Ensure timely responses by applicable teams or assignees to complaints, subpoenas, garnishments, and other legal process. * Manage workload allocation and resource planning across the team and in collaboration with litigation attorneys and paralegals What you’ll need: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; paralegal certification is a plus. * 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, in either a law firm or in-house legal department. At least 2 years experience as a paralegal in a law firm is strongly preferred. * Strong experience with litigation tracking and case management platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, or similar). * Strong knowledge of the subpoena and litigation and arbitration processes * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting multiple, and often short, deadlines. * Experience managing people and teams. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Comfort working cross-functionally with attorneys, cross-functional partners, and external service providers. * Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and operate in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. * Experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated environment is a plus. Nice to have: * Experience working for a financial services company and/or in-house legal department. * Proficiency with Legal Tracker, LexisNexis, and Relativity/other e-discovery platforms. * Experience e-filing via PACER and state court online filing systems. * Experience with Atlassian/Jira or other workflow management software.
