Tjänsten
Du arbetar främst ute i fält med kundbesök och inspektioner på järnväg och industri. Du driver själv prospektering, bokar möten och skriver offerter.
Du utgår från hemmakontor inom Sundsvall – Mälardalen – Norrköping (andra orter kan diskuteras).

I rollen som konsult hos oss får du ett omväxlande jobb med en mängd olika arbetsuppgifter. Du kommer erbjudas konsultuppdrag där du snabbt utvecklar din egen kompetens och kunskap inom relevanta områden. Våra kunder är främst medelstora och stora bolag med spännande miljöer i teknisk framkant. Din profil Vi söker dig som har några års erfarenhet inom området. Vi ser gärna att du har högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen inom exempelvis datateknik, programmering eller motsvarande. Vilket programmeringsspråk du har kunskaper i är sekundärt, men vi tror att du har ett par språk som du är extra förtjust i. Du kan exempelvis ha allmänt goda kunskaper inom något av programmeringsspråken C, C++, Python och/eller Java. Du ska ha god förståelse för agila utvecklingsmetoder, exempelvis Scrum. Du ska även ha goda kunskaper i både svenska och engelska i såväl tal som skrift. Vi söker dig som, precis som vi, har ett stort tekniskt intresse och drivs av att arbeta med ny teknik och att hänga med i branschens utveckling. Att du gillar att koda och att hitta lösningar på problem är för dig en självklarhet. Som person är du analytiskt lagd, har ett stort initiativtagande, gillar att arbeta systematiskt och har båda fötterna på jorden. I ditt arbete som konsult läggs stor vikt på att kunna samarbeta med andra på ett konstruktivt sätt och att kunna leverera projekt på utsatt tid. Du kommunicerar dagligen både skriftligt och muntligt på svenska och engelska varför det är ett krav att du behärskar båda språken väl. We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc to join our team at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. The https://www.chalmers.se/en/persons/cmuller/ focuses on the physical chemistry and materials science of organic semiconductors, polymer blends and composites, and develops new plastic materials for use in the fields of wearable electronics and energy technology. All research is conducted in co-operation with other universities/institutes and/or industry. Presently, our group consists of 1 Professor, 1 permanent researcher, 5 Postdocs and 9 PhD students. About the research project Your research will focus on the reproducible and benign synthesis of high-performance organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors (OMIECs) with optimal mechanical and electrical properties. In addition, you will contribute to the development of continuous flow chemistry processes. An example of our recent work can be found in a recent article in https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.adv8168. You will work closely with fellow PhD students and postdocs at Chalmers, and collaborate with partners across Sweden and internationally. This role also offers exciting opportunities to travel and engage with external collaborators. Who we are looking for The following requirements are mandatory: A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made. A very good capability of communicating scientific results in English, both orally and in writing. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the work, the candidate is expected to have excellent collaboration skills. A promising track record of early achievements such as scientific publications. Experience with experimental techniques that are commonly used to characterize polymers, in particular NMR, chromatography and vibrational spectroscopy. Significant experience with organic synthesis and the synthesis of conjugated polymers via coupling reactions. The following experience will strengthen your application: It is highly meritorious if the doctoral degree has been obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline. Experience with flow chemistry. What you will do The majority of your working time is devoted to your own research, in collaboration with other Postdocs and students in our group as well as collaborating groups. In addition, you are expected to support and mentor some of the Master and/or PhD students in our group that work on related topics. As a Postdoc you are expected to develop your own ideas and communicate scientific results orally as well as in writing. There is the possibility to teach on the undergraduate/master’s level. The position is meritorious for future roles in academia, industry, or the public sector. Contract terms Full-time temporary employment for a maximum of two (2) years, with the possibility to extend by one (1) more year provided project funding is available and the project goes according to plan. The monthly salary of a Postdoc researcher at Chalmers is about 40'000 SEK before tax (€ 3'700). The position requires physical presence throughout the entire employment. The School of Engineering (JTH) conducts research and teaching in computer science, computer engineering, and informatics. We have two growing departments in these areas, with approximately 50 employees. Your placement will be at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. The Department of Computer Science and Informatics offers academic programmes in subjects ranging from software engineering and embedded systems to user experience design and cybersecurity, and conducts research in associated areas. Our education programmes are developed in close collaboration with the surrounding industry and have an annual intake of approximately 300 students. In our department, we have two research groups, Human-Centred Technology (HCT) and Cybersecurity and Privacy (CPR). The HCT group focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating technologies that make our lives easier and better, always with the end user in mind. The CPR group focuses on making cybersecurity and privacy work for organisations and individuals.
