Ansök nu och bli en av våra nya medarbetare!   Om tjänsten Som CTO vid Tullverket har du en viktig roll vid vägval och beslut gällande it-teknik som bidrar till den tekniska utvecklingen och digitala transformationen. Som CTO leder du arbetet med införandet av ny teknik samt bedömer och hanterar risker. Vidare har du även en viktig uppgift i att leda framtagandet av riktlinjer och vägledning, samt att säkerställa att övriga delar av organisationen inför de it-tekniska lösningarna på ett lämpligt sätt. Du kommer även bedöma de tekniska lösningarna ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv och att de är förvaltningsbara över tid. Utöver detta är det viktigt att ha förmåga att inspirera medarbetare från olika områden att arbeta tillsammans mot gemensamma mål för att på bästa sätt utveckla och effektivisera arbetet samt att skapa och stärka gemenskap och engagemang.   Rollen CTO är ny vid Tullverket vilket innebär att du kommer att ha stora möjligheter att påverka hur arbetet ska utformas och utföras. Du kommer även ha ett nära samarbete med andra avdelningar, enheter och utvecklingsområden, för att säkerställa att våra it-lösningar är effektiva, användarvänliga och i linje med våra övergripande strategier och mål. Ditt arbete kommer att vara avgörande för att främja innovation och digitalisering av myndigheten. Vi söker dig som är en trygg och inspirerande ledare med förmåga att kombinera tekniskt djup med strategiskt helhetsperspektiv. Du har erfarenhet av att leda teknikutveckling i större organisationer, gärna inom offentlig sektor eller annan reglerad miljö.   Är du den vi söker?   Vi söker dig som har: akademisk examen inom IT eller upparbetad arbetslivserfarenhet som arbetsgivaren bedömer som likvärdig. minst 5 års arbete i liknande roll inom IT de senaste 8 åren. fler års erfarenhet inom IT-branschen med kompetens från tekniska till ledande roller. förmåga att kontinuerligt hålla sig uppdaterad med tekniska trender inom utvecklingsspråk, plattformar, infrastruktur, utvecklingsmetodik etc. bred och aktuell kunskap om it-lösningar on-prem. erfarenhet av arbete i agila organisationer. god förmåga att uttrycka dig väl i tal och skrift på svenska och engelska svenskt medborgarskap.   Det är meriterande om du har: bred och aktuell kunskap om it-infrastruktur, it-plattformar, it-drift och it-utveckling. bred och aktuell kunskap om molnlösningar. The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for defining and delivering the technology vision and strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory obligations. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will oversee the development, security, and scalability of the firm’s payment platforms, ensuring innovation, compliance, and resilience in a competitive environment. Roles & Responsibilities · Define and execute the company’s technology vision, roadmap, and long-term engineering strategy. · Ensure all systems and platforms are scalable, secure, and resilient to meet customer demand and regulatory expectations. · Advise the CEO and Board on technology trends, risks, and opportunities that impact the payments industry. · Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance competitive advantage. · Lead the design, build, and optimisation of acquiring and issuing platforms, including transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and chargeback management. · Oversee integrations with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). · Ensure full compliance with card scheme rules, PSD2 and other regulatory requirements. · Support the launch and scaling of existing and new product. · Develop technical solutions to optimise merchant onboarding, KYC, and payment acceptance capabilities across channels. · Manage vendor and scheme relationships, ensuring strong connectivity, performance, and resilience of payment rails. · Lead the end-to-end design and development of the company’s core payments platform, ensuring scalability, resilience, and innovation. · Oversee the full product lifecycle for technology solutions. · Collaborate with Product, Business Development, and Operations to define product roadmaps aligned with customer needs and commercial goals · Implement robust platform architecture to support acquiring, issuing, risk management, and reporting functions. · Ensure effective integration of APIs, partner solutions, and third-party services into the platform. · Drive a culture of customer-centric product development, ensuring technology directly supports business growth. · Oversee day-to-day operations of IT and payments infrastructure, ensuring system stability and uptime. Maintain strong relationships with processors, acquirers, issuers, and external technology vendors. · Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team (engineering, IT operations, architecture, security). · Oversee IT budgets, vendor contracts, and resource planning to ensure effective use of company resources. Key Skills & Competencies Proven leadership in technology strategy within a FinTech, payments, or financial services organisation. Strong expertise in acquiring and card issuing technology, including scheme integrations, BIN sponsorship, and transaction processing. Deep experience in platform architecture and product lifecycle management. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, FCA, PCI-DSS, AML, GDPR). Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution. Deep understanding of cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and data protection in payments. Strong vendor and scheme relationship management skills.

Hacksaw Studios is looking for a highly experienced CTO / Lead Developer to join and lead our platform team. The platform team is responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving the core remote gaming server platform used across the group. This is a high-volume, transactional system operating in the online gaming industry, where scalability, security, reliability, and code quality are critical. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role. You will take ownership of the ongoing development and maintenance of the remote gaming server platform, as well as other platform-related services including API gateway solutions, back-office systems, integrations, and future unannounced projects. The role As CTO / Lead Developer for the platform team, you will be expected to combine strong technical leadership with hands-on development. You will work closely with the engineering team, senior management, and other departments to ensure that our platform continues to scale, perform, and meet the high standards required in a regulated industry. You will be responsible for driving technical decisions, improving architecture, reviewing and writing code, mentoring developers, and ensuring that the platform remains stable, secure, and maintainable as the business grows. A key part of the role will also be communication. You will need to clearly explain technical decisions, platform changes, risks, priorities, and ongoing work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes regular reporting to senior management, as well as close collaboration with departments such as Frontend, DevOps, Sysadmin, and Support to ensure they understand the platform, upcoming changes, operational impact, and how best to support the systems in production. You should be excited by complex backend systems, care deeply about quality, and be comfortable balancing long-term architecture with hands-on delivery. You should be able to lead from the front, contribute directly to the codebase, and help the team make good technical decisions while keeping the platform secure, scalable, and reliable. Just as importantly, you should be a strong communicator. The platform team works closely with DevOps, sysadmin, support, and senior management, and this role will be expected to create clarity across those teams. You should be comfortable explaining what the platform team is doing, why certain technical decisions are being made, what risks or priorities exist, and how other departments are affected.
